Yeah. I'm not in full panic mode yet and won't be until a few hours prior to early access. It's just annoying to even have to worry about it at all since it has been acting very oddly. PSN Heavensward download was really smooth from what I remember although I do remember that other sources had numerous issues.

My theme is active. PSN on my computer shows I've purchased Stormblood and my services list indicates I have early access. I'm assuming it will be a launcher update that comes from PSN, then the rest will download at the sign on screen before taking us to the game itself like it did with heavensward

Doesn't work from what I can tell, just have to wait till either Thursday or Friday. Though Sony is getting a complaint from me tomorrow. I want to make certain everything goes right this time. I had a situation similar to this when HW came out but I got a Physical version instead. I didn't get my physical copy of the game until a week after the official launch so when EA ended I couldn't even get on because my character was at a point in the game that I couldn't be in without the disc of HW. So if something like that happens with this expansion...oh boy will Sony get a huge backlash from the community since now it won't just be me.

Didn't we have an issue with dataminers during the Heavensward launch?

It's possible that SE is delaying the download to prevent spoilers this time.

This download is just for the launcher, it wouldn't have any of the patch info until maintenance so I doubt it. Plus from prior info it is a Sony problem.

I'm having the problem as well, and it makes me a little uneasy all things considered, but I won't be going into red alert until maintenance starts on Thursday. What's weird is that (like a lot of people here) I have the theme which I got with my pre-order but now all of the timers are gone.

EDIT: Judging from the posts it looks like a majority of the people affected were the ones who bought the digital CE of Stormblood and it does look like everyone was actually downgraded to the normal version.

Okay I can safely tell you all that it will be fine according to a rep that I talked to. He said it will be available on Friday. Just hold on a little longer everyone, SB is just around the corner.

The rep said it will avaiable just on friday to download or we can download it before like it was suposed to? I'm having same issue. I have the game on my account on psn when i checked my account online, but it shows me to buy the game again.

I hope we can DL before EA goes live I assume it will be. (hopefully)

So i bought the digital CE stormblood on psn. My theme downloaded and online in my transaction history it shows ive bought it, email receipt included. But its not showing i have early access in the mogstation

It won't show early access in the mog station until the patch goes live. You still have early access.

Showing as downloading in 32 hours roughly on mine give or take abit

Available as in we can play it then. So just keep a look out on Thursday just in case we can download the launcher before hand and if not then definitely friday.

If its going to be like last time, which it I'm sure it will be, there will be a time during maintenance where the patch for the launcher will become available to download, and then we will have to install the actual 4.0 patch inside the launcher. It will happen before the servers go live, so everyone will be logging into the game at the exact same time. Its the same thing that happens whenever we get a patch of any kind. As long as we have it listed in our services, we are fine.

Now's not the time to be worried, especially since there isn't anything we can do about it. Just relax and stay positive.

If calculated right it will download between 1130pm and 12am for me tomorrow night (australian time) not at home so cant check the timer just going by memory

I looked at my download queue on the PlayStation Store website and it says it's "expected" to download in less than a day on the 14th. But the first attempt of download was on the 11th but it failed. Guess I'll see how it plays out today. Fingers crossed

If you look at the preorder and early access instructions you'll see that all the license stuff will be done by Sony and SE without a code from the player - assuming you purchased in the PS Store for one of the digital editions.

The site explains that when you start the launcher on the 1st day of early access you will be asked to confirm your SE service account that StormBlood will be added to. There is no pre order code or early access code to input unless you purchased the physical edition. The addition of the license to your service account will include all the pre order bonus and any CE bonus items you're entitle to from your purchase. Until that time nothing will show on your SE account, and only the early access item will show on PSN at this point - I think. Once you start the launcher, and tell SE to apply your license, everything else is supposed to happen automatically.

The downside is that there isn't much to see right now, other than an awesome dynamic theme.

Any word on Amazon preorders? I don't have any timer showing up and I redeemed my code on psn way back on May 11th.

If you registered that PSN code, then it's supposed to work the same as if you purchased through the PS Store, so when you start the launcher it'll ask you to confirm your service account, and the magic of Sony/SE will take care of the rest...apparently.

So, I contacted Playstation support and this is what they told me.

Rep (‎6‎/‎14‎/‎2017‎ ‎9‎:‎45‎:‎44‎ ‎AM): Okay (insert customer name), yes, you are right, we are aware of this issue. It seems there was a miscommunication issue between the PSN and Square Enix's servers and the PS Store started prompting users to purchase the DLC again, but that will be not necessary at all.

I can see the Pre-Order license is in your account and you will be able to have the early access to the DLC, but you will need to access to it through the In-game options.

Don't worry at all, ever if it is not showing in the download queue or you will definitely have access to it.

Rep (‎6‎/‎14‎/‎2017‎ ‎9‎:‎55‎:‎12‎ ‎AM): According to the information I got, it seems the Pre-load feature would be substituted by the Early Access. That means you will be able to download the DLC this Friday.

Hopefully what that means is that Stormblood itself will be part of the update we all receive on Friday, and what we're buying is simply the access code to play the content. In which case we should all be fine, because it seems the one thing we all have is our account showing we have early access. The only thing I'm worried about is accessing the download itself. But if that is something that we're provided with when the game returns after Thursday's update, then that should resolve the issue.

I just got off the phone with them and they said I should be fixed when psn updates later today.

I think I bought it twice too

Stormblood will download wheter you buy it or not (just like every other MMO expansion). the early access stuff you will configurate when first time log on in the serers.

So the pre load option on the 14th was a big lie. Gotcha.

I hope so too. I guess we'll see what happens on tomorrow or Friday. Though it seems people are getting mixed information such as what Saito said about it being fixed when the PSN updates. Some have even said that the download will be available once EA launches

So that Stormblood should be coming from an SE update and all we're really buying from PSN is the code makes a kind of sense.

it wasnt. We were only able to download anything for 3.0 after the version check, the one that happens whenever we open up the launcher.

I think the "pre-download" was the theme itself
