Promotion is up on Amazon

I just pre-ordered Mighty no 9 and pretty much had my codes instantly despite it being a preorder.

I ordered Assassins Creed Syndicate and still waiting for my code.

My niece pre ordered a game and hasnt got the code yet.

They slower than the Moogles lol.

I know someone who ordered StarKist Tuna for the code. Because that's REAL gamer fuel. XD

Really disappointed that this is only good in the video games category. I shop at Amazon weekly from many different departments, but I seriously have NOTHING to buy in the video games department. NOTHING.

There is no way to receive a code from that page specifically, as in purchasing a 'qualifying item', as you do need to go into whatever item it is's page and look for the promotion icon. But that is the place you would get the actual Mog Station redeemable code from.

Thank you for this link! I was worried the vague "6 in-game items" mentioned on Amazon would be something stupid like, "1. Butler Shoes, 2. Butler Pants, etc." It's nice to see official confirmation that we'll be getting all the major items in one go.

I know what you mean. I had some games I was looking into, but before I knew it was tied to that specific category I had been waiting to purchase some ant bait. Pest control should count, it's killing mobs for loot basically!

You can try asking support for your code. I did and received mine. Have my items already. c:

I threw a preorder down on Dragon Quest 8 (which has no solid release date yet) for the 3DS and got my code instantly. Just putting that out there.

Tried that. The rep I got sent my request to a special department and I should have it within 1 business day. No immediate code from them for me lol.

I will just be patient and see in the next day or 2.

I wonder if something went screwy when I ordered and they weren't prepared with the codes so I get to wait for someone to manually apply the promotion.

I'm with you on this one, worst of all it's only physical items. Here I was hoping to pick up an FFxiv time card, but those don't work and yet somehow WoW and Nintendo cards do? I hope this is changed before the promotion ends. It's a little ridiculous.

Personally I'm not too concerned with it though. The only thing I really wanted from the Japanese promo was the MGP voucher and those aren't available in this promo.

I just preorderd FF15 can called it a day.

That's the expansion only and is exactly the right price. The ps4 one counts towards it too, however it's less than $19.99 so you'd have to buy more products that qualify.

Received my code maybe 10 minutes after completing my order. It redeemed on the site just fine. You get a list of 6 codes that need to be used on mogstation.

I think so. I ordered before I left for work this morning and although it shipped and bank was already charged, I'd yet to recieve a code. A friend ordered the same thing within this hour and got their code not more than five minutes after ordering. Still haven't been sent a code automatically to this minute, so I had to contact customer service for mine.

Did anyone else redeem there codes but not recieve the items in game yet? How long does it take? I redeemed my codes 2 hours ago, logged into the game and nothing.

If you ask me it would be better if you order it on amazon.com, unfortunately it completely depends on our distributors so that's why I don't want to promise anything


So yeah, unless something changes it looks like it is the Amazon.com side for any Canadians wanting those codes.

Can a mod confirm or clarify this at all please?

Got my codes. Since I bought something I was already gonna buy, this is basically a free bonus.

I contacted chat support and was basically just told to wait the 24-48 hours. They did not offer to give me the codes now.

People are so impatient, I could see if person waited 2 days like it states and didn't get code contacting customer support about the code but sounds like people not even waiting couple hours before wanting to know where their code is.

Possibly because a lot of people are untrusting of this due to the fact SE nor Amazon has released a full, complete rules and regulations about how this promo works and what does/does not qualify (unless you go directly to an Amazon rep and ask them specifically what does and doesn't qualify..). There were also a few people saying the codes they received were invalid, so I think it boils down more to a trust issue than pure impatience.

I wonder if pre ordering the Zelda Wii U game will get me the code...

Don't even have to ask a rep says right on the product page if item qualifies or not, they just got to scroll down a little bit to see if it says this

Not to mention the wildly varying degrees of answers people are getting from Amazon - i.e. one person being told the whole ordeal is fake, other people being offered their codes via chat, other people being told to wait up to 48 hours, some people getting their codes immediately upon order completion.

Yup typical Amazon when it comes to stuff like this, the customer service reps get the information last and what service you get varies wildly from rep to rep.

Yea that why it says "within 2 business days" so person could receive it anytime within that time frame whether it be 5 minutes after order to 40 hours after the order.

Also the promo might of not started until a certain time like 8am or something so then if person ordered at 3am the the promo would of not been active yet.

Seems newer orders are getting their codes near-instantaneously. If your order hasn't shipped yet, maybe try cancelling it and re-ordering? This is especially easy to do if you preordered something.

I just preordered the resident evil 4 for ps4. 19.99 even, contacted customer service and got the code asap.

I had preordered something last night when the promotion first went live and it did not go through. I just cancelled it and reordered and got the code almost instantly.
