Evolution of your character

This is Alahra toward the tail end of my last major excursion to FFXI (I'm back on it now, here and there):

Her earliest incarnation in FFXIV had a slightly different face, but I rather surprisingly don't have any headshots from the time before my Veteran's Rewards fantasia, where I modified her face to the form it's been in ever after.

For most of ARR, I went back and forth between MNK:

Serenity was created in 2.0 pre-release. She's a Keeper of the Moon and always will be, for obvious reasons, hehe.

I never played FFXI, instead I've come here from WoW. On WoW, I played a Night Elf Feral (cat) druid, called Lisanna:

When I came here, I decided I wanted to remake Lisanna, however, I decided against being an Elezen, as although I would still be an elf, they don't really fit with Lisanna, after all, she spent most of her time as a ferocious cat rather than some prim and proper elf lady. So I made her a Miqo'te, and as she was a night elf, I chose keeper of the moon:

I also didn't keep my name as Lisanna, because I felt weird just adding a random surname to it, so instead I broke Lisanna up into Lis and Anna and from there I became Liss Anakho. So she's like a whole new character whilst still reminding me of my old one. :)

I've changed my hairstyle since I started as I realised that an awful lot of people seem to have white/silver hair, and the spiky short hair seems quite popular as well. So now, I am a blue haired pretty kitty:

as for future evolutions, I may just turn into a lalafell. I like them so much.

I'm a simple Galka/Roe with simple tastes...Practically no changes between the two and I've left my FFXIV self alone since launch lol.

Although I did glamour the original Gae Bolg recently. It's color scheme matches the dye really well and I've always been a fan of it's physical design.

I decided to use some of my skills that I rarely use for some reason and put together a gif for my evolution since I think this thread idea is pretty cool xD

It doesn't have all my looks just the ones I used for a significant amount of time. If I did all of them it would be too long I think lol.

ARR beta and 2.0 start: all that changed was that her hair became really red now, as well as an added star-facial tattoo :) After this screenshot I left the game for about a year.

Return at the end of 2014 look: for the first time, let Meo's hair grow out, got rid of facial scars, plucked her eyebrows, and bleached her hair. Basically, Meo finally became a lady x)
The one thing that had never changed were her cat-like lightgreen, shiny eyes :)

For Heavensward, I knew right away I'd turn into an Au Ra lady, mainly because I was so sick and tired of glamours always not going well with my red or orange hair. I wanted bluish colors, for once!xD
So what came to be was one of my biggest regrets: doing my ingame-marriage as a tomboyish Au Ra :(
Half of the time my face wasn't showing and when it was visible, I looked incredibly mad to get married at all xD

Around autumn 2015 I got tired of Au Ra, mainly that they generally just look too cold and detached and that no earrings are showing on them.
I decided to go back to Miqo'te, but since I had 2 phantasia left, I decided to switch to Lala in between :o
The plan was to do it for one week, but...it lasted for about..2 months?xD Just too adorbs :3

When Winter Sale came around, of course I was already missing my detached Auri lady again, so I bought the 5 Fantasia pack, wasted the first one going Mooncat for 3 minutes before realizing that that's not me,
changed to Raen instead and realized I picked the wrong nose x_X
So I used a third one, but because using one JUST for a freaking nose job seemed like such an incredible waste, I also switched from Raen back to Xeala. Who cares if I main healer! >.< I need my dark scales to be happy!
I looked exactly like my retainer then (just that she is a Raen still) and decided we'd be sisters..xD
But because it was too weird I quickly ended up changing my look again and now I finally went for the puffy sheep look I wanted for a while but never thought anyone could pull off well ^-^

I had been my usual miqo self for quite awhile, and was starting to get that itch...

My characters don't change, only their glamours do. And even then it might only be because their previous set wasn't something quite as fitting as the new one. That said, if they release a certain 3.0 miqo'te hair further down the line I will jump on that really, really fast.

2.0 release - Kept the hair/face/tattoo but decided to go darker skinned in a bit to stand out a lil. Caucasian skin seemed to be most common. I also ditched the purple eye as I felt that was very popular too. Green is a typical kitty eye colour so I stuck with that. Changed the hair slightly red to compliment the skin tone. Went with bushy brows like my own too.

3.0 release - Did what I'm sure most of us did and tried Au Ra. I did like her this way, still do. Buuuut, she seemed less emotive in cutscenes to me and I missed my fluffy tail/ears.

Just wanted to say I love the bushy eyebrows, it's the most fitting style for Miqo'te imo. This is mine. I only changed her hair style and color, and lip color, once when the new 3.1 hairstyles came out, but I simply didn't like them on her and quickly switched everything back. I've always really loved this hairstyle, which is apparently from patch 2.3.

And this is me now! I made some minor tweaks to myself because I didn't feel like I was perfect. I ditched the grey eye and just kept the red one and became blind in the other eye. Whoops turns out I had one more change in me! A drunken suggestion from a certain someone lead to me going pale. I decided to change my good eye to purple because I was tired of the red after a while. Decided to also go blonde because the black hair looked a little strange to me with the pale skin. Honestly? I thought I'd regret it and would fantasia back to grey after a day. It's been roughly two weeks and I'm 100% sure I'm not going back to grey.

My character hasn't really changed all that much. I've never used a Fantasia aside from the automatic conversion from the old 1.0 character. I've slightly changed the hair colour and hairstyle over the years, but she remains the lovable squishy lalafell that I adored from the start.

Started as a male Miqo:
