Actually... it doesn't... I was all ready to join Maelstrom (Limsa) and now I see this... :(
Now the decision going to be really hard!!

hahaha Reinheart the subligar>maelstrom imo :P haha jp
No it's not a mini-expansion...these are things that should have been in the game to start with. They are actually putting in things to get this to be "modern day release worthy" as opposed to "Yester-year release worthy".
A mini-expansion to me would be something like "Witch Hunts" from Dragon Age Origins. That's a mini expansion...this...this is just bug fixes and the content that should have been in the first place.
Btw, good job SE team. Looking forward to trying it out. You have peaked my interest :)
Yeah pretty much the next few patches as well will be things that should have been in the game since release.
While I wouldnt call it a mini-expansion, it certainly is a game changer. Crafting is going to be a whole different ball game for new players. The list of items they are deleting from the game entirely or are no longer used for crafting is gigantic. I also get the impression that we are going to have to spend a great deal MORE time gathering to get the same amount of items as before.
I saw no mention of LFG update. perhaps the tutorials will really help with people using the party function
Reading these patch notes are like reading "The Lord of the Rings". Everytime I go through them I find something I missed before. After reading them I am almost afraid of the sizes for 1.20 and 1.21. Most of my concerns have been addressed by other posters before me. Only need 1 clarification though <probably overreading>.
Notes say that adding Materia can only be done by Diciples of the Hand. Does this mean just having a DoH item equiped or did you actually have to have selected DoH when you first created youyr character?
Aside from that this is awesome. It will probably take me so much time exploring the new content that I should have a large stockpile of levee credits stored by the time I am done. The live session with Yoshi-P should really be interesting after reading this
The one thing missing that kept this from being a perfect update:
Would have made it a perfect update.Quote:
The Interface has been move to Client-side dependency
Im thinking that level 15 non instanced dungeon will be weird what if theres more than one group?
•[dev1150] Upon being raised, players will be unable to input a command for a duration of seven seconds.
dont know how i feel about this lol. also what does spirit bond actually do (does it make the item more potent and is there a spiritbond cap)
haha yeah im running but i also have no aggro so i have the freedom to help cure in dire times of high aggro for the rest of the mages... so now im just a useless character for 7 seconds. wondering how noticeable itll be and annoyed people will get over this lol. if at all.

lmao about this item description :D
is there anything in the notes that say "Action bars saved per class"? or is that not 1.19?

Scroll down to the Armoury System changes. It is slated for 1.20.
I believe that is what you are asking about.Quote:
Automatic setting of current class's actions
Addition of rules and conditions for setting actions of other classes
I wish they put a link to enlarge every images they put in the patch note.
I can't see a thing in that tiny pictures!
Btw, great job SE ^^ Thank you for your hard work!
I also like that they said some low lvl gear will have xp bonuses on them. This patch continues to impress.
Btw, here are the missing images SE miss-type image's URL in the update note.

Its because the games economy is messed up cos everyone has too much money, this it to take more out the system for people that should beable to afford it, if they didnt take gil out the system prices would just go up and up and up, therefore locking new players out because of the time it would take them to make enough gil to buy anything.
Very nice stuff. I approve of these notes, for the most part. Good job, devs!
This one is a beast. I am very excited for this patch. I am SO freaking happy they revamped the block action.
Awesome notes, a good deal of content. Still can't wait for the producer letter live.
To Community Reps,
I also hope we get some clarification on what MIND does after the patch, now that:
It would be good to know since they're being a lot more open and giving us details on changes now. :)Quote:
- PIE has been made to influence maximum MP.
- Increases in VIT and PIE granted by gear have been made to influence maximum HP and MP respectively.
Thanks!
Hi Jynx,
Totally agree. :) I hope we get some details on how Yoshida-san is fielding questions from people. If it's happening in a few days, you'd think the Community Reps would start some Official Questions Thread. Or maybe they'll translate it live (on the fly) via Youtube Comments Box?
Can't wait.
I'm a bit disheartened that they eased up on different monster classes giving more/less SP though, seems just like another unique thing that is gone once again.
I am hoping we will have Mog Houses (or Sylph Huts) to put our stuff in by patch 1.21Quote:

How would they pull off removing inventory space? Are a certain number of your items just going to disappear from your inventory?
Nice Patch though...looks good...have a nice weekend Devs...then get to work on the next one. ;>P
Im really excited to use my arrow keys for my camera!
