I dont troll. Just trying to write down the info that I got from doing the event.

There was alot of dudes that saw it besides me. I hope you find it soon!

The only thing they gave me was more of the same earring though, which i had to throw away sadly. I think that they're just some kind of rare spawn that guarantees that you get an earring.
Maybe they drop something else I dont know.

First 10 kills i was at the horizon outpost. And i got one of each item.
Then I went to the drybone one. And i was there for maybe two hours?

There was about 5 other guys killing em off. I managed to kill two of the 35 mobs. Cause im only a 25 PUG, so i had to rest in between etc.

And then it got back to normal, and i farmed them some more to gather all the nuts.

That's about it.

So the droppable item so far are Dalamud Nut and Moonlet?

No others Nuts/Earrings, right? :?

I think so! Didnt realy pay attention to which one who dropped it. But just keep killing them, and you'll get it!

Just got mine of a moon-eared mouse.

Was wondering if maybe eating the nuts increases your chance of getting one? I mean, they have to drop for a reason.

Hello peeps, found them all:
Moon-eared Mouse (rank 25), Moon-eyed Mouse (rank 15) and the Moon-toothed Mouse (rank35).

Moonlet Earring has dropped from all three Moon Mice.
Dalamud / Moon Nuts dropped off all three Moon Mice.

Dalamud Nut gives +3HP / MP when eaten.
Moon Nut gives +5HP / MP when eaten.

What's with the strange face on the Dalamud Nut?

Also, how did you take a screenshot of your items... mine always hides the UI.

Unless the Rank 35 one gives an exclusive achievement or drops an item nobody has received yet, there doesn't appear to be much point to it.

I just used printscreen without holding scroll lock. Then pasted into MS Paint :)

There's a rare pop called a moon mouse, I don't remember seeing toothed in the name and my achievement only says moon mouse and I got a moon nut from it, I'm guessing they also drop the more rare earring? Still don't have that one.

And yeah those dalamud nut faces are freaky.

I think that Moon Mouse is the collective name for them all. I got the same achievment and I didnt see any Moon Mouse in game. You sure it was called Moon Mouse?

I think Moon Mouse is just the collective name for them.
Moon "eyed" Mouse, Moon "eared" Mouse.
Could even be a Moon "Rocketship" Mouse for all we know :D

Hm. I have those 2 listed in my achievements from about 13 hours ago, but still no mouse avatar.

I guess there is something else to it?

How exactly in any circumstance from now until the end of time itself would that earring ever be VERY useful? I've always been the type of person that enjoyed world events and such, but this is just foolishness.

I'm not so much upset about the event being epic fail as much as I am with realizing SE just can't roll with the big boys anymore.

Achievements needs a while sometimes. Was waiting 2 Days for my Swimsuit Achievements. X_x

You know what... since you can only wear one earring it gives me an idea.

I have the earring equipped too. Let's recap:

Killed Moon Eared Mouse ---> got moonlet earring
Killed Moon Eyed Mouse ---> got dalamud nuts
Killed some other Moon Mouse --> got moon nut

Decided to equip moonlet earring for giggles and went to do other stuff. Checked Lodestone some time later to find one achievement : Valiantly killed a moon mouse. And noticed I have a blue avatar with mice on it.

Yea, I gotta be completely Honest, the rewards for these event are starting to get on my nerves.. I understand they are never going to be the best gear in the game, but come on at least make them do something. Anything really, ANYTHING.

I miss the mog house furnishings we get in FFXI...:/

I'm more upset at how absolutely ridiculous everything looks... I mean yeah ffxi had those horrible pumpkin hats... but they also had the tattered robes and witch hats... or the wooden samurai swords...
