Please fix the Store

I don't understand why you think this.
Currently the physical CE is only available to Pre-order on the SE store (or would be if it worked).
Nothing is mentioned about not being available for early access

Well shame for SE then, monopolising the boxed CE to ensure they can charge us well over the odds compared to everywhere else, looks like I'll only be getting digital CE unless you fix your GBP price making it fairer.

It's their game... Other retailers aren't allowed to compete with them anyways

Is it wrong to be expecting some kind of official update on the situation about now? It's been a pretty long time since we last heard anything.

Well, that's quite beautiful. Considering I've already spent half the day sitting here and the damn thing still doesn't work. Would have said I'm one of the luckier ones who could be here all this time, but seeing how whatever issue there has been can't be fixed in a time that is humane, I'm not saying it - have to leave in about an hour and a half, and so far nothing indicates I will be lucky at the end of the day.

But of course the Japanese store got it sold out without any issues (at least I've not heard of one). I don't wanna be rude, but you guys really should hire some competent experts when it comes to coding, because it doesn't seem like you have such, not over here in the EU department anyway.

It's a bit jumbled, but considering everything else, I'd say it's safe to assume that one of these applies to PAL/boxed/online, regardless of your region or the actual store.

Can we get some kind of official comment on the uk/eu pricing? Are you seriously expecting us to pay more then us/jp price In terms of exchange prices?

Type-0 CE sold all of it's batch and was never reprinted so... smart money says ce is limited.

can get it later when the box arrive, will not be the issue. The issue here is the early access which is not an issue

And it look like I will have to pre-der for PC and buy standard digital for Ps4

Read it again. You get a pre-order code. It gives you everything that comes with a pre-order. That includes all the pre-order benefits, including pre-order items and early access.

I'm just going off whatever was mentioned on the stream. (which also mentioned that it wouldn't be a SE store exclusive but didn't mention that was the case for everywhere but the EU)

Also as to that picture on the last page, I'm not sure if I should laugh or cry. That price, $ = £ is how price conversion works... really? Just :/

that's what i don't understand.
I'm probably reading too much into it, but it says "ordering a boxed version from the SE Boutique", not "ordering a boxed version from the SE Store".

My guess is that the SE store also falls under the "online store" section. Given that the SE Boutique is only for France and no other country it's maybe easier to mention that like this. Like everyone else i'm also just guessing here waiting for the store to go back online though. But afaik you get a pre-order code which also inc. the early access send to you.

Ah, well, i didn't know the Boutique is French-exclusive >_>

I can't even get to SE eu store due of maintenance.

cause it is under maintenance still.

Funny thing is, all the people who were worried that they would miss their chance to pre order due to having to go to work, will probably have finished work by the time the maintenance is over.

So it looks like most of us will be out of luck and won't get a CE after all. After 6 hours, the store is still offline... and the boxed CE version is exclusive to it. Some of us can't be here all day refreshing the site.

Thanks Square-Enix Europe, but next time get your stuff together, ask your japanese pals if needed, and get everything ready so that you don't inconvenience your customers. Or, at the very least, let them buy the game in other retailers like, I don't know, NA and JP did.

I agree.

It seems that the was SE is divided regionally is causing a huge lack of consistency. If Japan can have a functional online store for a game like FFXIV then surely western countries can too. Lets face it, Final Fantasy is far bigger in Japan than it will ever be in the US or Europe.

Plus, the price difference is a joke. I had intended on pre-ordering the physical CE of windows, but have no intention after seeing the price.

Yeah, to add insult to injury it seems that we're paying more, too. Unless it was a mistake, which I sincerely hope it was or I'll be even more disappointed.

See i just find the price difference. £130 is not equal to $130. realistically it should have been £90 but i expected it to be around £100. cant believe its £130. was so disheartened this morning when i saw it, but my fiance said she'd get it for me as a wedding gift so at least i can still get it (well if the website is ever up!!!!!) i definitely think that for the extra amount the UK customers are being screwed over with we should at LEAST get something extra (or discount it down to a fair price!)

The EU store.. the price we were shown in $ on live letter is the same in £ too? Don't do a Destiny SQEnix... $ is different to £

Someone posted the price differences for all regions earlier in this thread. It was quite significant.
I agree though... I was expecting £80-£100, which would have been understandable.
But to simply leave the price at 129.99 regardless of currency just seems greedy and lazy.

They know people are going to buy it no matter what price they set it at... so they probably didn't want to waste their time by spending 2 seconds to look up a price conversion chart. So they decided the number 130.00 for everyone! XD I agree it's BS, though. For most people, it's a big gap in price difference.

Question....I play from Argentina with the NA client, my SE account is registered as "the americas".....why when I try to enter na.square-enix.com the site automatically redirects me to the eu.square-enix.com?????
It assumes my IP is from Europe when it isn't????
