I've seen the "Drops price drastically" one today. The last highest price was 190 gil then I saw an Alumen(NQ) stack that was 150 gil. In my opinion the price should be dropped at least 10 gil less than the last lowest higher price you see.
People who don't pay attention to what their party members are doing is what really "grinds my gears" in the game :p. It is inconvenient to have a player who Eye for an Eyes' over yours instead of concentrating on pushing their DPS, tanks who don't see who is being attacked by what etc.
Oh hey! This thread again! With how far back it went, I wasn't expecting to see this-
Oh.
...
Well uh, combined with my own earlier post, along with the posts I made in other threads, I've pretty much complained about most of that myself, save for a couple stories you shared in there.
TAKE ALL MY LIKES! I CAN'T AGREE ENOUGH!
What I find odd is that you have over 60 million gil (iirc from a SS you posted a while back) and yet you can't hq a 1 star item..
It's really not for having leveled a crafter to that level people charge you for, it's the time to actually make the item, about 40 seconds per craft, 8 minutes total..
The troll in me might do the first two just knowing that it annoys the crap out of some people :p
This especially, if anybody ever sends me a tell regarding my undercutting, I will just do it even more.. Hell, I'll even take a loss just to piss you off :D
I mostly don't mind if healers don't want to dps, but what does get me is when a SCH follows the group round doing the mandervill dance if the low level dungeons.
1. Not being able to que for any duty while my chocobo is out.
2. Being forced off my mount every time I talk to someone.
3. Teleportation Prices.
4. The RNG of card drop chances for Triple Triad.
5. DRG/MNK unable to Need on Scale armor...when its specifically designed for their class.
6. Not being able to put decimals in my macro timers.
Still can't get Dreadwyrm robe for caster...
Still far away to get ADS mount...
DPS who waste Limit break on mobs.
- if its single target i understand, if its a big group and then aoe is better placed there then on any boss. Its horribly weak, even single target lb seem to scale bad with content.
I have high hopes for individual LB. its annoying to rely on one person to time it right, or always to tell them to use it... since most ppl treat the LB as the holy grale...
Healers who try to DPS
i honestly hate when healer don't dps (in normal dungeons or on other easy content). I only hate if they do it and forget to heal entirely or let ppl die due to dpsing
also i hate whm wasting mp with holy not using cleric stance that is my favourite haha (for the record i love playing whm and i do both).
depending on how good the tanks and dps are... you are just stanting there as healer and wait where you could actually dps
People trying to start an argument when you're trying to have fun
arr isnt about fun, its about getting things done ;). Sad but true-
The real problems are when a player ignores the primary function of Healer role (keep the party alive) and don't knows how to DPS as healer.
I see a lot of bad "DPS healers" nowadays. They only think about your "personal DPS" capacity but a true DPS healer must use your abilities to improved the overall party DPS.
This bad behavior includes:
* Don't pre-buffing (protect, stoneskin, adloquium/succor) the party (specially the tank) when able to do. Damage mitigation means waste less time healing and more time doing damage.
* Using cure spells with Cleric Stance active. Less cure potency means more heals actions and more waste of MP and time (and less DPS). Even in easy content, a good healer should turn off CS when using Cure/Physick.
* Using offensive spells with Cleric Stance inactive. Less DPS pure and simple. Seriously, learning how to turn CS on/off depending on situation is a basic skill for any decent healer.
* Forgetting to use Esuna/Leeches to remove a debuff that decrease overall party DPS.
* As SCH don't using Selene abilities to increase party spell/skill speed when you can easily heal the party using your spells (specially at easy dungeons and bosses)
* Letting a player die by damage, wasting MP and time (or a swiftcast) to raise the fallen comrade, which means less DPS for entire party.
People who use Guildwork for Hunts - I hate you all.
The lag demon which people only get in Titan Extreme
Pray Tell and Mayhap.
FC conversations on Anime - It's only ever "Have you seen.....have you seen.....here are my favs...." x10
People who spam holy during weddings - We're already aware you're attention seeking twonks, stop ruining everyone else's fun.
Ninja's in pvp who think they're invincible, try to steal a base then die straight away.
"The Final Witness" players who think they're untouchable in pvp and then die over and over - Would make me laugh if it wasn't a team game.
Not being able to explore :( I want to see mountains Gandalf, mountains.
Not having a robot dance emote.
HEAVY
Players who don't kill adds in CT's because they think their gear makes them invincible.
-LB can be used anyway it needs to. You will see DPS wrecking mobs with LB in various encounters and specific pulls in dungeons and trials.
-Healers DPSing makes dungeon/raid THAT MUCH FASTER/EASIER. You probably should have worded it as "healers who cant manage healing while DPSing"
-User error
-ERP Company?
-"overpriced" is in they eye of the beholder.
-"People trying to start an argument when you're trying to have fun (at the expense of others?)"
-Craft commissioner trying to get off without tipping while running away using the argument "my mats and crystals (your time and work)"
-Miqo'te population ratio, 2nd most popular race?? what are you trying to point out?
New!!!
Having to find flow to fly
So good healers grind your gears?
Idiot.
Grinding for gear grinds my gears. Grinding for gear also grinds my gear and costs a lot for repairs.
I have a problem with Healers DPSing, but only because most of them put that ahead of healing the group. "Is the tank at full health? I should DPS. Who cares if the rest of the group is down below half." If a healer can actually manage to do it competently and keep everyone at full health, then I'm perfectly fine with it. But particularly since I've started playing MCH and don't have access to ANY self healing besides potions, I've begun to notice just how many healers only heal the tank unless a big party wide attack hits, because they're too focused on DPSing. Mistakes happen, and sometimes attacks line up so that you can't dodge one AoE without getting hit by another. Yet half the healers I've seen act like, "if you got hit you must suck, so you can die"....
In my opinion, if you're healing, then your priority should be, well, healing. Throwing DPS in from time to time is fine, so long as you don't make it your main focus....
I dislike people who complain about healer DPS even if no one in their party dies. They complain because a party members HP gets low. Because they don't understand that good healers know when they need to top people off.
Healers dpsing?
Aren't people currently using Scholars to pass dps checks?
Other than that, when i'm on my AST, i usually like to throw out an aspected benefic on the tank, switch to cleric stance, and throw out my dots and some malefics or gravities. My eyes never leave the health bars, though, so i can quickly switch out of cleric stance if need be.
A little extra damage doesn't do any harm, and a good healer knows their limits.
Personally, I always gauge my tank's ability first before deciding if i would lend any support dps.
Gated classes...
There is just no reason for it.
I dislike when a healer is terrible at their job, you know, healing, then blames people dying on the dps lol Seriously, I was doing Neverreap a week ish ago with 2 fc members and this whm we ended up with was pretty bad >_> Full law gear etc, but couldn't cure for crap. She'd stand in AoEs and fell off on the last boss multiple times. Then she proceeds to yell at us how somehow its our fault she died, so I decide to speak up and say how the dps aren't the reason she's dying. She flips out with "Oh so you're blaming ME?!" lol Fc member gives a good comeback, she leaves, we got a new healer, instantly won.
Then today, another healer in Sohm Al. She couldn't keep up with healing when the tank pulled more than 3 mobs. Tank dies, healer proceeds to give up and stand there with only 2 mobs left, with me and the drg still alive. Doesn't heal us or anything, so we both die, then she dies and goes "I was almost out of mp" >_> She had 4k mp left... So, we get to the final boss and she stands ontop of the comets, instantly dies. Proceeds to complain at us for "dps shouldn't place it on the healer" so I mention how she can move out of it and she says she doesn't have time, so I told her to sprint >_> Flips out telling me if I'm going to be b----y, she can just leave >_> Really?
I swear, healers think they're better than people and if they die, its someone else's fault, even if they suck at keeping people alive (when no one's in an AoE) lol :/
>_> Also, tanks who pull everything when the two dps we have, can't really AoE at all. So then we sit there fighting 7+ mobs at once, single target, running out of tp since no downtime between pulls. Tanks, if you have two mnks (yeah some AoE, but not spamable), think before you pull a mass amount.
Melee DPS who don't ever once LB during the entire run, thus forcing me when I'm on a ranged non-mage DPS class to LB when my LB is the lowest in damage.
For the love of the Twelve, if you are a melee, please use your Limit Break.
Just so you know, everyone doesn't have to be at full HP at all times. If a healer knows it's safe, and DPS are actually doing their job AVOIDING stuff, and the tank is keeping aggro, keeping everyone not topped, yet alive, is basically the same thing, and allows us to dps more.
Was in Neverreap yesterday and the healer/tank kept bitching because me and the other DPS kept greeding loot drops...
lolwut?
6-7 A4 runs today going for a crank.
5 cranks drop. I lose the loot roll of every single one.
Final run comes, I'm the only one who needs anything.
Shaft drops. Not one, but two. No crank.
Game decided to give me the double shaft (literally) after hours of work. What a waste. Just not worth it. If I ever actually meet RNGesus, I'll crucify him myself.
All those vit-str tank threads
