I'd buy a tackle box.
I'd also like house pets, kinda like minions but they live in your house rather than follow you around.
Since it is inevitable that this is coming, we were talking in mumble about it, this is what we can up with (I'm sure some of this is repeat of others):
- Old Event Items - that way if people really want it they can buy old event items and SE can focus on bringing out new event items every year instead of recycling old costumes for new players.
- Name Changes
- Race changes
- Minions
- Mounts
- Vanity Clothes - mostly costumes of main characters from others FF games like how we got Lightning and Snow's outfits
- Mini games for the Toy Box
- Bardings for the Chocobo
- Body Types for Characters - Changing the physique, such as allowing Miqo's to be muscled or toned like Midlanders/Highlanders can etc...
Now a few things that were brought up they would not like to see, which should be obvious (not being negative just saying this in case devs are reading lol):
- Anything that gives a unfair advantage in game - which SE already said they wouldn't do so no issues here
- And many of us agreed we would like the Aesthetician to stay free for the most part. We won't mind if hairstyles etc are sold in the cash shops as long as they also keep updating the Aesthetician in game with new items as well. But if they make it pure cash shop from here on out, they need to make changes free in game (no more 2k per change).
These are great ideas.
I would pay money to regain a real feel of adventure and exploration in the game. I would also pay real money to see no more RMT or bots.
I would pay real money in the form of increased sub to not have a cash shop but have those items be obtainable in game. I know this seems hypocritical but when the cash shop starts ballooning in size and the cost of all items in it is more than triple a yearly subscription (This WILL happen) then raising sub costs becomes a bargain.
Facepalm emote. I'm talking a good one with your hand all in your face, shaking your head with a LOUD sighing sound.
/dontwant Emote. That's a Retainer only emote that allows your to slap your Retainer across the face/head with fish if they bring it to you as a reward. I'm paying her to explore, and she's at the damn Mist for 18 hours.....>:/
These things, I will PAY for.
Practical adventuring glamour gear for casters/healers.
While I really do love the robes and such that casters/healers normally get, none of it really feels like the kind of super-practical gear you'd think someone would wear while adventuring (I really loved the simple Doublet gear from FFXI because it looked practical and casual for adventuring gear, while also being short-sleeved, which we don't have nearly enough of in XIV).
Naturally, it would also have to be dyable.
I'd pay for a L'cie brand.
Why not rule out RMT, SE add gil in cash shop. Wait having a XXX million gil house = VANITY
Sorry I don't care how a cash shop is added to a game. I don't care if it's the thing to do to make more money. I'm against having a 2 tier system.
Because the cash store drama hasn't already made a toxic atmosphere.
Honestly though, I find YOUR post to be harassment. As far as I see, this topic is for SUPPORTERS of the cash shop, and those that accept that it's happening. I consider the posts of hatred for this feature to be derailing and off topic, which I believe ARE in the forum rules. Consider that my post may seem rude, but I feel it is necessary to remind people that they should think carefully on what they post.
If you disagree, report me. If they find me to be acting out of bounds, I will accept my punishment as given.
Though I wouldn't mind if a rep took a visit to give a public judgment.
I do understand my topic name suggests differently, but the body of the main post explains what I'm requesting. For coming up with a hasty title name, I do apologize.
I will! I won't be including everything, some suggestions seem out of bounds for me, like buying a house or rare drops. That's P2W, which is not allowed. I just need a little time before I can go through it all!
Removal of the Cash Shop.
I'd pay to get rid of the cash shop. Monthly even.
Thinking about it, I'd also happily throw down 2 or 3 bucks for a portrait of Nashu to put in my private house
I'll pay $ for those popular dance step in RL to make it ingame, every 3-6 month refresh new dance.
BUT I WANT THOSE AION WING$$$ THERE BAD ASS MAKE IT HAPPEN SE!!!
A name change (maybe), the yukata and the taru minion because I missed out on those events during my break and my name might not work for roleplaying a lalafell sadly.
I would buy a second chocobo.
So that I can have 2 chocobos fighting along side me.
Also a name change.
So I can be called Chocopimp McMoneysacks.
Access to my second service account, which refuses to activate on the same credit card details my first does. Because a working billing system is a hard thing to maintain, eh Square?
Perhaps before whoring out the game with a Cash Shop, you might considering making sure everything else works?
Instant low level duty roulette queues as ranged dps :)
I'll pay extra to play on a server that has no cash shop.
Wow, after reading back a few pages I've gotta say the anti CS whiners are starting to get really annoying. It's sad, really. Making a huge fuss and starting drama over something so little. >_> Why not go whine in one of the 4 or so anti CS threads instead...?
Honestly, people are acting as if SE is completely ignoring the game simply because they're opening an online shop for vanity of all things. It's so stupid. It hardly takes any man power to make and maintain the shop, it's not as if all their resources are going to it. *facepalm*
Just because you people don't like something, it doesn't automatically mean the aspects you want in the game are being ignored because of it. *sigh* It's so annoying how people make such a fuss over such petty things.
Not being able to access an account that I've paid for is not a petty thing, idiot. If they can't get basic billing correct, how much trouble do you think they're going to have dealing with thousand upon thousands of micro transactions each month?
Think before you whiteknight, ne?
Uh, I can say the same to you. The CS has absolutely nothing to do with your billing problem. So if something doesn't work, it's automagically because they're implementing the CS? Oookay.
Try thinking before passing the blame on something that has absolutely nothing to do with your problem simply because you don't like the thing your blaming your issue on.
How about a shot at the Cait Sith/Mog Cap combo I was screwed out of by an unscrupulous GameStop ex-employee (who then sold them on eBay)?
Three different insults in a single pages of your posts. I get the idea that you are just not really a nice person in general. Please don't resort to name calling, it is technically reportable, and even though I'm not the object of your insults, I'm more than a little offended by your use of them.
Your point is valid if we see that there is an issue with the cash shop system. however, since especially what you describe your problem as seems like a payment method issue, I would not place that kind of omen on SE before it comes to pass.
Just because your method of payment doesn't work, doesn't mean that all versions don't. I have paid both with game cards and steam wallet, and both have gone without a hitch.
Keep the insults over sub payments in the bug reports, its off topic here.
Final Fantasy series charactor costumes for Glamour
Wow, 'cretin'? Grow up and get off that silly high horse of yours. :l
I've yet to have any problems paying for anything for this game. Just because you are, that certainly doesn't mean SE can't handle card payments. I also don't see anyone else reporting the same issue that you're having, so I doubt it's a common one. You're just mad because you and you alone are having an issue and that somehow means SE is completely incompetent regarding anything else that requires money.
Also, I see you're no longer blaming the CS, but you're trying to somehow turn it around to make yourself look more in the right.
And you don't consider generalizing valid concerns as being 'petty whining' as a broad insult to anyone that raised them? It's called 'responding in kind.' Reap what you sow, etc. If he wants to baselessly ridicule everyone else because their opinion is inconvenient to hear, then that's how I'll reply to him, and have every right to do so.
Elsewhere, no, this is not a payment method issue. The card in question is being used on my first service account, at this very minute. It has been used for my second service account in the past. They can't even offer me an explanation of why the error occurs, or what it actually signifies. Just that 'it doesn't work, and we can't take payment from it for up to a month now.'
Right. So how well does this bode for the cash shop, which will literally increase the number of transactions they process each month by an order of ten or more?
To the original topic:
I would buy a skin for my chocobo companion to look more like the ones from ff13
Perhaps a suit or a good looking cloak for glamors
Aside of virtual items I am looking forward to the new artbook ;)
Sorry, you had a point? All I saw was you baselessly insulting everyone that had provided feedback here.
Here's something very relevant, which you might take under consideration. As you may be aware, Bungie very recently released Destiny to a plethora of complaints and criticisms, much of which was fed back via their forums, as it's one of the more immediate arenas for customer communication. Much the same thing happened there that has happened here with the Cash Shop - a little patrol of pro-company whiteknighters came out in force not long after, to dismiss all of those concerns, and do their best to drown their posters out, or drive them off the forums.
This week, the community admin for Bungie, a very tolerant, approachable man called Deej, fed back to those whiteknighters, specifically telling them to, 'stop attempting to defend us on our own forums. We can't learn from fed back we can't find, and we don't need other people defending our actions for us.'
FFXIV 2.0 came about because of valid feedback from people like those posting here. Your attempt at mocking that feedback is unnecessary, unwarranted, and will not help the long term prognosis for this game's subscriber base.
TD:LR. Shut up and let people tell the company what they think.
I would like to pay 10€ for not having a cash shop ingame.
Seriously wish people stay on topic & at least respect the OP wishes on the sort of discussion they wanted in this thread!
Um, stop trying to act like 'the good guy' here when you're the one who blamed the CS for your billing problem of all silly things. :l And really, really over-dramatized it.
I'm aggravated at people causing drama over the CS when this thread is merely about what people interested in the CS would like to purchase. It's unnecessary drama when there're several threads for you to voice that very opinion. This thread isn't one of them.
Also, I'm all for feedback. You're not giving feedback though, just complaining and blaming SE for your problems. =/ I've posted my own negative feed back here and there, SE isn't perfect and I'm not saying they are. Just because I disagree with you about something, that doesn't make me a white knight, that makes me somebody with an opinion that you don't like.
