I agree i would love to see a small clip showing the new battle system in action... it wouldnt be hard to show us a little of the test from the development server, but of course they wont... even a few good screens would be nice, or even some detailed info but i bet thats asking too much.
I am guessing its gonna be some vague ass info a big smiley face and a "keep waiting good stuff to come!"

Everytime they did a change to something they've always shown screenshots. Even the upcoming hubs they've shown screenshots.

Battle system is generally gameplay changes which is something you can't really capture beyond explaining and posting a video would be signing a death warrant with how cynical the community is. If things change from the posted video, people will get upset that SE "lied" to them for example.

I hope they do show a video of what to expect, maybe give 1.18 it's own little trailer :p

I don't expect they change the whole system in a row, but not certally they'll put "an addon"

I was hoping for it today, its most likely been written but the translates are SOOOOOO slow and it will take a week for them to translate (where it would take us about 30 mins)

At the minimum we know they are adding auto attack and simplifying the math calculators for damage and healing because they feel they grew too complex. (Which is why things like Stats and what gear you have equipped seemed to do nothing.)

They need to tell us what's in store for the class system and job system. Honestly, right now I feel like I'm levelling an empty shell of a job because I don't know if it's going to be replaced or if there's something coming that will influence my levelling decisions. So some information on that would be nice...

They've already said that even if something drastic happens to the current classes (like one being removed or something i guess?) You'll be able to reassign your investment.
