using ifrit i really feel a little advantage of dmg respect another smn in my guild (and he have far better equipment than mine) i know u have to use some dots more often than with garuda but...dps is far far higher with ifrit if u know how use it
i binded "attack" and "follow" at 2 mouse buttons to be more reactive so in case of add i just press TAB and then attack button and then dot cycle,i see most smn wich use garuda keep it on main boss and simply use dots on adds or crystals or stuffs u have to kill quickly
i'd like to know if someone else is agree with me about this or explain me why im wrong ;)

second thing is a question because dont have time to test it in this days...does spur and rouse stack? sometime i feel yes sometime not,but didnt check dmg so maybe someone of u already did for me

third thing is always about ifrit pet...yesterday i was helping in ifrit hm wich i did other times and a pally found in pug says that ifrit interfere with stun resistance on ifrit hm and sometime resists to pally stun,i already did always with ifrit without much problem but later i changed to garuda and there was less resistance ...ifrit dsnt have any stun skills and i think isnt his fault but who can say? do u know something about that?

I stick with ifrit as main he does way more damage and theres only very small moments when he has to be on obey. I only pull out garuda on a boss where i wont have time to keep putting dots up.

He does have a stun skill crimson cyclone.As far as the rest a cant say.

to be honest i remember that i read there is a stun effect in some skills but...i checked yesterday night and i didnt see STUN in description,maybe is a passive skill dont know but thx ;)

From my understanding yes they stack.

As fo the more than 1000 characters, after posting, edit your post and you can put in as much as you like ^^

Also any fight that has adds, such as Garuda's Plumes or Ifrit's Nail's, I prefer to use Garuda-Egi. In the time it takes for Ifrit-Egi to chase after a plume/get to another plume hitting a different rock/switch to a different nail after one is killed, Garuda-Egi could have attacked several times from a distance as it is a ranged attacker that doesn't have to reposition itself to attack a different enemy. In these fights time is of the essence at those parts so getting in any extra hits that you can really makes a difference.

I'm pretty sure u are right about repositioning and quick aoe skill I have to test because I did garuda hm only 1 time for now and can't test without a full guild party or someone start to flame about low dis Hehe I will try this evening and let u know my experience

Crit is awesome for us, because everytime our DoT hits, it can crit.

This is also true for every attack in the game, and we don't have anything that plays off crit (unlike Bards, for instance).

So, for us, it is just a DPS increase. Its 39 crit for 1% dps increase, which is okay, but worse than determination.

Determination is ~7 determination for 1 int.

Assuming that our dps scales linearly (percentwise) with int, and that we have roughtly 400-500 int right now, it is between 28 and 35 determination for 1% dps increase.

Which is better than crit until we reach extremely high levels of int (550+ int).
