The glow on relic+1 weapons is ugly

As long as the gear doesn't go overexagerated fantasy-style like in most korean MMOs I'm fine with them I guess.

But I didn't ask for that. I like the look of the relic weapons. I just think the aura looks like ass on 5.5/8 of them. A toggle whre your head/weapon toggles are at would be nice.

Yes they are very ugly. They look cheap and rushed. The only one that looks decent is the Curtana since only the blade has a glow..... The biggest reason they look bad is that the whole weapon is glowing instead of specific parts of it, but the whole glow graphics style looks bad anyway.

The glow effect is the biggest reason why I wont get a +1 and will hold off for the Allagan weapons.

I wish there was an off switch for the glow on the weapons.

I really like the stardust rod glow, and ifrit weapons etc. I hate ugly auras especially if the whole weapon is covered.

Well done Dev Team with the relic designs. +1 relic aura glow disallows players to see the weapon's design. Please make the +1 relic aura glow optional.

I really like the glow on the PLD sword and shield. Especially the shield. Makes it look actually 'Holy'. The glow kinda goes with how we made them +1, since we basically just poured that funky mist on them and stuck them in the fire.

But I don't understand why they wouldn't allow us to turn off the glow. Probably the same way they won't let us dye certain dungeon sets like the Acolyte, etc...because reasons.

At least moths don't swarm us when the weapon is drawn... Phototaxis stick, go!

I love my +1 glows. So far I have a Stardust Rod +1 and Omnilex +1 with a Veil of Wiyu +1 coming very soon. Eventually I want all of them. Yes, that's a lot of myth tomes. Yes, they could have been spent on other gear to specialize one job sooner. No, I don't care. I love my +1 glows. :D

Sadly, PLD weapon doesn't glow white. It glows purple-ish like the BLM relic. The reason for that escapes me. :(
