Moogle(EU), Ultros(NA), Behemoth(NA), Cactuar(NA), Excalibur(NA Legacy), and Hyperion(NA Legacy) have all been perma-locked.

No, I know people who got on in the days following launch but yeah for the last few days it's been perma locked

Seriously getting frustrated. Server open! make character and then error telling me I cant make character because its locked. nice one guys.

Such level of incompetence in dealing with this whole situation doesn't exactly fill me with confidence in the future of this game. :(

No amount of "please understand!" will get you out of this SE.

I've been playing this Beta Phase 4, and my friends bought this just before release. I've been having little to no trouble with logging in since the last patch (other than the random graphic bug that crashes the game). The trouble is that no much I tell people that the game is great, they don't want to sit and stare at a character creation screen waiting for servers to be unlocked. Thought this was finally over with the recent update on creation restrictions, but the list is a load of bull****.

I'm actually considering starting again just to play with my friends (who haven't started as they are waiting to get on the same server as me (odin)). I don't see how difficult it is to keep the list up to date. Subscribing to this thread in the hope that things will get sorted soon...

I've been playing since beta too but my purchased copy didn't arrive by live date. All of my friends have been on since day one (Excalibur) and now they're leaps and bounds ahead. :(

Have been trying, as much as I can, to try to hit the creation on the server but always no luck. Not feeling like the extra seven days they're giving us or time spent trying to get to the same spot as friends are worth it right now.

My friend has been trying to get onto Moogle to enjoy this game with myself and my friends since release, he has been playing on a different server in the hope that he might be able to transfer at a later date, but this whole character creation lock is getting a little silly now. Surely SE should realise you only get so many second chances before people stop wanting to play your games :\

I hope they don't have the audacity to charge for the initial round of transfers, or else I'm out for good. :(

Tell me about it... I'm just happy that they labelled the servers EU and NA. At least then I won't have to transfer if they introduce an EU data centre.

Im worried that they only allow transfer to servers of their choice like some mmos do, this is why I am afraid of just starting somewhere else and transferring later
So it means no crowded servers like moogle or behemoth
