Fate grinding is an awful thing to do for 50 levels..

So you would rather just do all the exact quests over again? There is a unique challenge within a game where all classes can be levelled on one toon and I feel they have done a good job providing us with options. Not to mention the large xp boost you get for subsequent classes.

Could always break out the classic exp mob grinding group. Seriously I've heard its a valid way to level and I think I would much prefer it.

it is awful, and it's your fault, there is other means to exp available, you just choose not to use them.

That's just it, NO ONE is forcing you to run fates constantly. You are the one who decided to grind fates. You are the one who thinks he needs to get to level 50 in under 3 days. To quote the AVGN: "You're your own damn nightmare."

My ACN/SCH/SMN is level 45, and that is from mostly doing quests. Even then, I have been playing other classes periodically to curb the boredom of endless grinding. I haven't done much fate grinding aside from a few in Costa Del Sol and the Svard fights near Dragonhead.

Anyone actually tried a 8 man exp burn pt yet? I thought there was a thread somewhere that said some jps got to 50 in no time using that method, and when compared to grinding everything else, it was cake. I know initially everyone was under the impression it wasn't going to be good at all. I'd like to give it a try and see how good it is, I'm not sure if I've seen any areas where mobs respawn fast enough for this but it might be worth a try.

After your main class you really don't have the option anymore. No more quests just fates and leves for 50 levels.

How do you know this? Your highest class is level 35.

Presume story line, job quests, side quests and hunting logs all done. What are the sources of XP left?
Then, given that, what is the rate of xp/hr ?

I know FATEs give a lot of XP upon completion, but there is a lot of time between each FATE, so perhaps the overall XP/hr is not that high when you consider that?

Leves are a nice distraction, but there is only so many you can do at once. Anyone know the XP/hr rate on those?

Finally, anyone know if its feasible to go to a dungeon JUST for XP? (Do mobs repop or do you need to clear it?). I know on low/mid 20s I was able to get 50k XP for clearing a dungeon (all mobs and end), and it took less than an hour to do. If you have a party (of your choice) of 4 friends, you could go into a dungeon and grind XP that way I suspect.

Anyone else have #s?
