Yes, but where in that agreement does it say we cant release video/audio during Early Access?

Here is the link to the full terms and agreement for ffxiv arr that everyone is accepting when they start up the game. In here you can go to FINAL FANTASY® XIV: A Realm Reborn™ Materials Usage License and tells you that you can't do video. Just because the date it was posted is old does not mean that it is not what you are accepting. It will change later on I am sure, most likely the 27th.

Most people did not read that you have to go to support to see the full terms you are agreeing too.
What is legally binding is that in the user agreement, SE can do whatever they want with your characters and your account as they own them entirely. They can ban you for little to no reason. Other MMOs also have this legal clause. If a SE rep posts that you cannot stream, and you go against their wish and get banned, SE has legal right to ban you. They can ban you if they see you stream and see you wearing a pink polka dot shirt on webcam if they want to.
Not trying to play brave white knight here, but being realistic. I do agree they need to be more clear about these issues.
Regardless of what you think you agreed to, SE clearly states no copyright ownership is included with the game (Please see bold and underlined section that is in all caps.) This means that you get to do precisely what they tell you you can do with the content (which includes audio/visual). Unless it happens to fall under an an exception to copyright law ( Fair Use Act etc.). This is just copyright though, they may have covered that loophole elsewhere.
Am I agreeing with their choice? I honestly don't care. I'm playing the game not watching it.
I would rather see that people who visit this thread can make an informed decision on whether or not to ignore SE about not streaming during EA. If you want to know possible consequences they are listed in there too (Section 3).

Now quit debating boring stuff and go find a good gif for the reaction thread to hold us over til Saturday.
So funny no streaming early access.
Actually surprised the NDA will still be in effect. I mean, early access is the final product at that point.
I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but your friend is probably just making stuff up. Nobody I know of got banned from Twitch, certainly not for showing FF14 screenshots. Guys who showed screenshots like Kripparrian, Towelliee, and CriticalChocolate are all still streaming right now as I type this. In fact go to CriticalChocolate's stream right now, he's showing nothing but a non stop FF14 screenshot slideshow right at this moment.
Whenever people get banned from Twitch, it makes gaming news. If 27 streamers got banned all at once, everybody and their brother would be talking about it on Twitch and several other forms of gaming media. Nothing like that has ever happened before and it would be huge news in the streaming community. Can you actually name any of these streamers who were supposedly banned? I don't even think there was a total of 27 people showing FF14 content on Twitch.
