PvP decision. What do you say to PvE implement content?

It is actually pretty enjoyable. I've been so engrossed lately in guild wars 2 that I'd play for hours and very easily loose track of time. "I started playing at 1PM, when did it suddenly become 3AM?" Only doing PvE content.

Haven't done PvP or WvW once yet. I should add, And when ARR comes out, PvP areas are one place you will never find me, lol.

I love PvP. it doesn't have to be open world PvP much like WoW, but I do like it a lot. It's all I did in WoW once I got to max lvl and being able to just PvP separately from PvE content I like that.

In my opinion, (instanced) PvP content should work without damaging the open world PvE content because they are too pussy or even being a drama queen. ~.~

Yes, FFXIV 1.xx failed hard even for exp parties where asshats came to our exp camp just for farming...

I think 8 players vs 8 players would be fun and...
1 player vs 8 players with special powers would be awesome!

Agree, just like in Elna's other post, some NA ppl replied him in JP, i dun think everyone got perfect grammar in JP either, so dun be picky on the language, it's not the main point here. And please, dun do the same thing in the game in the future too, respect yourself a little bit to show NA players have respect to other players too, a lot of thanks here.

Back to the thread topic, honestly i dun really mind doing pvp in a pve based mmo, just don't make it like u entered a battlefield when u enter the game, players chase after to kill u like u own them million dollars, so making "pvp zones" is better and i think yoshi mentioned about this before(?)

I certainly hope you're right. WoW has heavy PvP elements and are always balancing class abilities around PvP because they're "too OP" for PvP. I don't want to see ability adjustments every month because someone finds something overpowered in PvP.

I don't remember this being mentioned before, care to share some information on that? As was mentioned earlier in the thread, combos' direction requirement was removed and casting while moving was removed in favor of PvP balance, but other than that I don't remember any information coming out saying there were going to be abilities designed solely for PvP.

The Water spell shown in the videos certainly has some PvP utility, but it can also be used in PvE for stray monsters. There may well be other abilities that have debuffs or other effects that would work in PvP and can work in PvE as well.

I like both PvE and PvP contents.

I will also like a PvPvE content too. That would be really epic.

That's mostly because blizzard is stupid and makes changes based on the bitching and whining of the playerbase rather than what actually makes good balance. They should learn a lesson from Riot Games to only change something if it really really needs to be changed. All too often the thing someone is whining about is only a problem because they're bad and can't adapt to something they're not winning against.
