Will they be any incentives for FFXI players to try out ARR?

I think the only incentive would be dual subs which gives you a discount for XI while trying out ARR or two games for one overall price, otherwise XI still is making them too much money to move people over, especially with a new expansion out in a few months.

Well considering that the discount was out before the game was released, I doubt they added XI/XIV discount because they felt the game was terrible. Good try though.

Didn't you notice Shini saying "AND OTHER MMO"? biased people stop at the "WoW" if that was the case then the MMO world is F-ed there are no new players to go for...

to many mmo's or close to WoW. Not saying you shouldnt go after poeple from others but it should be those who look for a different experience than WoW has.
