Its really not exaggerated there is a massive difference between playing with a coordinated team and playing in PF where the DRG drift litany 20 seconds every 2 minutes.

I'm sorry but this is a skill issue and not a job issue. Complexity and a skill of the job shouldn't be taken away because people forget to refresh dots. If that is the case that evolved mode is indeed the easy brain dead mode the devs insisted it wasn't and has nothing to do with job identity.
SAM will now have more casts per minute than the typical WHM.
I'd get those if there was actual teamwork involved, is what I meant, and there is none (just press button on cd). Evolved is the perfect opportunity to do this with freeform raid buffs, if only SE had the guts to do it.
I think this is another case of even if its not your cup of tea some people loved it and are gutted to see it go. It was amazing to swap dance partners at 1min to the VPR for double reawaken and get a massive dps gain and then back to SAM to 2 minutes for example. Something that can only be achieved by coordinating. I doubt dance partner will survive the buff apocalypse.
I don't understand why SE couldn't keep buffs and just spread out the timings like used to. Have 60s NIN, 120s DNC, 90s BRD and that allows interesting comp building to work around those buffs.
Got NIN? Well then a MCH is thr phys ranged for you because (currently) they have the most killer 1 min of the phys.
This seems like the devs took the wrong message from feedback and are honestly doing this not for better fight design or job design but because they can't or won't fix fhe buff cap.
Meh. It never really felt like the buffs did anything anything because everything was so homogenized. I know that they did, but it just didn't feel like it. Everything was saved for the 2-min window anyway.
If BRD/DNC was absolutely necessary for runs the way BRD from FFXI was, then I could see your point. For me, they never truly felt like "buffs" because I could've gone any other dps and been more effective. To each our own I guess.
You're not "listening" to what I'm saying. I'm also annoyed as heck to see one of the core defining features of BRD going just like that. I want raid buffs on a couple of dedicated buffers. But I'm a child of Foe's Requiem days, and not the raid buff slop that we have today.
DNC partner would have been funnier to use if it had been designed like in pvp, also.
Once again this is a case of people who didn't interact with the 2 minute meta outside of roulettes and normals being glad that they have more glory buttons to push in between bursts and thats fine you do you. But buffs definitely felt like they did something in the final phase of an ultimate, pushing for a clear against enrage when that final burst came up and you just kill it.
Also other dps just don't do what certain buffers do. Bard brings about 12% dps to the party every 2 minutes between battle voice, radiant and wanderers and in a coordinated party MCH just can't compare, its not a competition at all.
