I still have to do Ds, Cs and Bs in order to get to the As though. On every job. The reason Cosmic Exploration feels bad is unlike allied societies or Custom Deliveries that have a set level recipe which scales on XP and rewards as you go higher than the recipe which also makes it easier and faster to complete, cosmic exploration does the complete opposite by making it a harder and much slower grind as you level-- 10,000+ work 470 at a time-- while trying to get HQ most of the time. Is it possible? Yes. But it takes forever comparatively which makes the grind feel that much slower and less worth it. Working to get golds on your D and C rank missions for like... what? 50k xp is like a slap in the face. To me at least. And, if I recall, you need to get golds to unlock A missions.

I dunno. I'm disappointed by it. I was going to use it to supplement the DT crafter dailies to level my crafters, but I just don't feel like it's worth the effort.

You need to do like 5 of each level of mission to unlock the one above it and you have to do it once per job. Is that really the baseline of expected effort being too high? If you are “putting in effort” golding a d at level 90+ I’m also concerned as to what you are actually doing since you can basically auto complete C’s and D’s above 90

Turn ins and tribe quests are limited, that’s exactly why they give more experience, whereas you can spam cosmic. I’m not really sure why you are questioning why content you can spam doesn’t move competitively as fast as content that drops concentrated bursts a limited amount of times per day

Oof, that was pretty much the only reason I could think of for wanting to unlock it.

As it stands I have no reliable way of earning gathering scrips compared to crafting ones when it comes to doing Custom Deliveries because finding/obtaining collectibles is total ass to deal with versus just picking up the materials needed from a nearby vendor.

I was curious if I could have used CE to make up for gathering scrips while supplementing my crafter scrips but it seems CE has even less to offer me than I thought.

Catching up in Oziys, (only had two tools ready for Oziys. All others weren't even touched, yet) sadly a lot of the C and B ranks are more efficient at catching up in relic level than doing A ranks, even at 100. If they planned on us solely doing the highest rank we can do. They missed that mark spectacularly.
