Could we have an option to reduce colors and flashes in fights, please?

Heritage Found in general is a nightmare. It's like someone just discovered FFX and thought the Thunder Plains needed ten times the lightning and twice the contrast.

They need to give players the option to turn mount vfx off while they're at it. Just played Frontlines and people spamming the "flare of happiness", from the new mount, scorched my eyeballs in Seal Rock caves today.

Actually examples would be good - I took 4 screenshots from videos to showcase some of the more painful things to look at it for extended periods of time, in images and videos its somewhat okay but when you do it in the fight with multiple raidwide flashes in quick succession it's simply way too much :(

No idea what fight this is, but looking at the screenshots alone made my eyes hurt. This super flashy visual clutter is really getting out of control lately.

First two are 7.2's EX trial, third is chaotic, fourth is M5S.

I'm honestly surprised to learn this isn't a thing already.
I'm even more surprised to learn that FFXIV's accessibility settings are apparently also incredibly basic.

If you are linking them from a discord link, they just straight up disappearing after some days. Upload them in somewhere like imgur then use that link instead to keep them visible here for as long as possible.

I just want to say I joined a fresh/learning Ex4, and I hate all the lights and bubbles a lot. I just want to see if I can get wings, but this is suffering.

Finally got around to doing Underkeep last night and I think this might be where I finally just stop playing. I literally had to force quit out of the game when I was expected to immediately do the trial afterward (couldn't anyway bc ilvl, but it left me zoomed in on the bright flashing summoning circle) because the resulting migraine and nausea were so bad I couldn't stay in my chair. I had to turn all the lights in my room off, lie down, and wait for the episode to pass. I can't go back in there to farm it, so it's going to take forever to get the gear to do the trial, which is likely going to be just as dangerous for me to do.

The overwhelm is so bad now, I dread doing any kind of group content.I fudged Heritage Found by keeping the camera pointed at the ground or just skipping the area when I could, but dungeons and trials (godsdamn I hate trials so much) are mandatory and require me to somehow look in every direction at once with everything strobing in a demand for attention, even with other players' effect off. I got violently sick trying to farm Vanguard (the point where EW's augment gear needs upgrading) a few months ago and can't go in there anymore. Basically, anything lightning themed from this expansion is the biggest trigger. I don't know what to do anymore.
