I think the system is fine as is. It is already a lot easier than FFXI.
Not sure what game you are playing there. Every Dynamis I completed contributed nothing to my relic, though it contributed to 1 person out of 30-50 people. I won't call getting 5 pieces of currency "progress" when I need about 20k units.Quote:
In the predecessor FFXI at least with every dynamis you completed you were a bit closer to your weapon.
If you go the buy all currency route, even with a 2m income a week, it would take 2 years for some of them. People are completing this is just a handful of months.
I think you misunderstood relics.
The only purpose of Relics is to bring back life to every single piece of content.
Relic weapons aren't supposed to be accessible to everyone, they're supposed to be hard to get, require a stupid amount of time/effort, and currently they do. This is a game where having multiple 50's of different styles of play is rewarded, asking the Devs to pander to specific play style is unethical.
For me, I don't really have problems with current settings. Sure, the money part can be a big problem, but that is still something anyone can work towards.
There's only 1 thing I need it to be taken out: RNG!
RNGs are for gamblings such as poker games, not adventure games or RPGs. Think I would rather play poker online if I'm RNG addict. :p
Yep.
The relic quests influenced my LS to work on their crafting and gathering jobs and they are actually enjoying the end result (being able to make their own/repair their own gear or make some great money/supply for the rest of the LS) and now that leveling either is quite painless, it's not so bad as long as you put the time in. Most of us can only play a few days a week, too, so it's not as inaccessible as some people claim.
I really think the devs are going to have to introduce a system where threads have to be approved before going public! The pure amount of tripe on here lately good god i have nothing good to read in work!
