[Discussion] Which character(s) would you like to inspire future jobs?

One weapon that's very heavily ignored in everything ever that could be fun to make a class with... The Quarterstaff (or as the japanese devs might be slightly more familiar, Bō).

While Setzer is iconic as a Gambler job he's already been used as a template for the Gambler's Attire glamour set you can get in game. Also he was basically a ranged attacker that had a slot machine command.

If Gambler were added as a job in FFXIV I think it would be a ranged physical DPS using throwing cards as a weapon and have a range of abilities pulled from multiple sources like FFXI's Corsair, FFT's Trickster, FFX-2's Lady Luck, etc...

If they're gonna add Gambler class, I'd want it to be limited... So that it can have ALL of the shenanigans that they tend to have... Including instakilling any enemy and instakilling the party.
