So the leveling aspect doesnt last for very long. Besides, we now have an alternative for this in EW with Eureka Orthos where players can also level alt classes there.
And as a casual player, most of that journey ended with the quest story in Bozja. You only needed to do CLL and Dalriada once to progress through that campaign. The only reason to grind it out being for extra relics which falls into that arbritrary padded out garbage that I dislike.
At this point in time on my main, Ive pretty much done everything major I wanted to do. Sure theres some extra grinds that I could shoot for if Im that desperate for retention but I dont since I dont want to waste my time for something that Im not that set out to complete.
Its just a reality with veteran players in MMOs that they have to soon face. If the game tries very hard to cater to the veterans and keep them retained then it hurts the game overall because itll fall in that never ending wheel that isnt satisfying or fun. We've seen big examples with this with Blizzard or Smilegate trying to do just that and it just failed with the general audience.
I wish this game added more activities per patch but not just one big activity that needs to be grinded out for like Bozja and Eureka. I dont want having to do homework in this game.
