My guess is it will correspond with your guild.
Like Paladin will be Amal'jaa currency, Dragoon will be Ixali currency, and Warrior will be Cobald currency. Only a guess though.

So far from what I see. It corresponds with the Stronghold NM you had to kill in one of the earlier steps when you got your double meld.
MNK killed Zahark NM, so they will kill Amaljaa.
DRG killed Natalan NM, so they will kill Ixali. (what the picture says)
My hunch.
Sidequestion: when you go kill stronghold boss to obtain an old relic. Is it a keyitem or is it a drop, which means, having to kill boss several times for it to drop?
learned something new today lol always thought it about them now makes since
So now the steps are:
Get 25k seal item
9 Seals from Hamlet
Turn in for note
Start quest from NPC
Make and double meld weapon
Kill Beastman Leader NM's
Collect 3 items from AV/CC *drop rate 100% if u are fast (17 min runs)*
Gather beatmen coins in 990 of the common one's or 495 of uncommon one's or 99 of the rare one's
????-Faction, Behest *collect items off final "Boss" mob - Allagan Band; Iron Lake*, Ex-Ifrit, Profit?
Awesome weapon to own shit with?
I think I am going to hold off doing the Relic Quest for now. Not because of the conditions of it, just because I rather get a relic on a job I know will eventually be coming in the future like Musketeer or Thief. I don't want to make a relic for a job I probably won't play with in the future.
If this game felt like FFXI I'd have a ton of content to do, lots of people to play with and I would be playing my SCH and DNC, The Relic requirement in XI is nothing compared to XIV's...
XI -
Gain weapon from appropriate Dynamis zone - Very common drop
Gain currency - You can even do this solo and buy every currency if you have the gil for it
Gain craft items requested - This above all is the easiest step unless you go after Gungnir, which has a weapon you need to craft yourself or get someone to craft.
Wait a few real life days between steps.
Gain Attestations and Shards - Very very easy.
Take weapon to requested zone and get your weapon (or shield) and a refund on one of the steps which you can hand off to someone else or sell.
Tell me how that's "bad" compared to XIVs that people are complaining about left and right?
Good thing I saved all my beastmen currency (paid off playing FFXI lol.)
