I'm enjoying the game myself leveling Samurai and getting it savage raid ready(Ghost of Tsushima put me in the mood. Love that game). That said, I personally don't play the game to escape the world. Facing problems head on is best for me. Back to the main topic, you're not going to convince people to not complain with this post. They're going to retort with "you're not my mom" energy.

This is nothing new here. some thread have value issues, some personal issue with the game and then there are threads that are just made for stirring up argument and bickering and some are just for fun and so on...
and longer in the expansion lifecycle more weirder threads will pop up

So? Both can be bad. Both FFXIV and WoW can similtaneously have a lack of content, or lack in a certain area/system within the game. Im not saying this is true about WoW as i dont play, it is simply just an observation :)

Yep, both can be bad. It's mostly that WoW lacks social systems like housing, and XIV lacks continuous combat systems.

If only they could learn from each other.

No no, you get complaints also on Reddit about the game. We just have a high influx of trolls and since we don't really have a mod team, they've had free reign.

Ive seen all the Doom and Gloom Since Stormblood.
And yet.....

This is basically what happens with any MMO in existence. Seen it many times across many different games. There are legitimate complaints and there are some threads where we have some good conversation about topics. I'd try to stick mainly to those and ignore the non-constructive ones.
