Bring back unskippable cutscenes.

I don't get what people are so stressed about.
I watch the cutscene when i'm late to the party(most ott they're not even that great), but i'm not expecting 23 others to wait for me like some narcissist.
Oh no the boss is at 95% health now my whole experience is ruined T.T

It would help if the ilvl was a bit lower so you have more time (and fun!) anyway. Doing Thordan nowadays is just said and would honestly make me angry after all the hype in HW. lol

If I'm watching a cut scene and somebody pulls, then I miss the start of the fight. Oh well, it's not like I'll never see the content again in a roulette.

Thordan was a joke on HW release with low item level already. There simply are no mechanics in the fight which can kill you, let alone a whole party.

I think it's far more considerate and respectful to wait for a sprout to watch the cutscenes than it would be to rush ahead and start without them. Waiting a few seconds won't kill you.

Yes, they can watch them later in the inn room but it wouldn't help with immersion or carry quite the same weight as watching them at the point of the story when they're supposed to be viewed, especially if it's one of the duties at key moments in the story. And if they were to stay back and watch them, although they may only miss a small part of the fight (still too much in my opinion, but for arguments sake I'll take it), the rest of the team starting early will bring up warnings/countdowns of the boss room closing etc. over the cutscene.
I don't call in chat about cutscene viewers and if someone does pull early while I'm using my main character I'll just sigh and get on with it, but they wouldn't be commended. Though if I'm playing the story again on a sprout alt (where I'll usually just skip the cutscenes in 'new' duties), if someone pulls straight away I'll make sure to sit and watch the cutscene in it's entirety. Need your sprout healer/tank? Then wait.

Although I'm more than happy to wait for sprouts to watch the cutscenes, rather than forcing us all to watch the cutscene again, I'd rather just have a barrier to the boss room preventing anyone running ahead. At least then we aren't all forced to watch the same cutscene on repeat on a regular basis and we can do other things in the meantime (checking glamours or portraits, managing inventory, chatting or emotes etc.)

I don't think that's the point. The point is you can only experience something for the first time once. And a new player experience is more important in that case than someone who's already been subscribed for years. We even get more items as compensation for that. It's not compensation if you don't, y'know, compensate. But to each their own. I have zero problems waiting, honestly.

But blocking entrance to the next arena until all cutscenes are finished, I could get on board with.
We already do this at the start of every duty anyway.

That post is incredibly disingenuous. xD And even if that were true (it isn't), that doesn't change anything. The too high ilvl is very immersion breaking. If you don't care, good for you. But for people who do care it's detrimental.

Yeah this honestly would be good, and those cutscenes are way shorter than the ones at the start too.
