Didn't Yoshi-P specifically ask Japanese players on the forums to stop being mean to the devs?

I don't think it was on the forums themselves, I think people were like contacting the devs directly to blast them lol

There really is a big difference in culture in how things are publicly shown. But just because they don't publicly show it, it doesn't mean that the JP people don't talk mad sh*t when no one is looking lol.

Well that's even worse than I thought

I dont even know how to contact devs lol much less get them to pay attention to us outside of these forums. Wondering is it really true...they dont factor in NA suggestions compared to JP???

I doubt many of them can read or understand English and even if they could I doubt they'd have to time to peruse the English forums. Your next best bet would be community managers relaying non-Japanese feedback to the devs, but I doubt they even visit the forums, most of them probably hangout in official FFXIV Discord servers or social media sites.

If you don’t believe me go google translate current 4 discussion thread on their forum

After playing for a few days im hanging it up until changes come....its infuriating to play again 90% ranged jobs drg and nin included as a true melee dps. I have to work EXPONENTIALLY harder than other jobs to be viable and i proudly consider myself skilled at my job. I even broke down and tried several matches as smn and i couldnt believe how much easier it was to sit back and blast people playing half as efficient as i do on my melee dps while still doing triple the damage with ease. Whats crazy is...I dont even mind losing matches its really just gotten to the point where in its current state cc is just not fun and i refuse to quit my playing my favorite job just to pick meta ranged jobs with crazy cc / easier dealt damage just to boost my win rate.

i simply run around and slap people as a GNB because i no longer care about winning, i got my coat so now i just want kills.

I can't possibly imagine why anyone would have any reason to be mean to the intern they have on PVP duty :^)
