Rez Macro Broke?

sounds like a weird character that looks like the one it should be found its way in, like an   instead of a space or something.

Rez macros have to be the most cringe thing in this game in my opinion. When it comes to raise I just manually swiftcast and raise. If I am in an 8 man party I just tell my co healer before pull I raise from bottom of table up and they can get from top down. None of this needing to see if they are scooping a player first and no downtime.

Telling someone you start from the bottom of a party list doesn’t help because not everyone has their party list arranged the same as you do. If you dislike raise macros, disable your chat. They really aren’t that big of a deal.

Alternatively, you can ask the person to stop spamming and if they keep going report them to a GM, but it wouldn't be such an issue if SE let us blacklist people mid duty. The only options being Abandon Duty, Kick, or turn off your chat and sounds is pretty terrible t when they do get annoying like the multiple line macros or the multiple sounds macros.

I’ve never had someone spam a Raise macro multiple times outside of them raising several people back to back—which isn’t their fault. Maybe 5/8 people shouldn’t have died. Maybe on occasion it will misfire and post twice, but that’s not “spam”. I doubt a GM would consider a raise macro spam either. A lot of the ones I see on Aether are also just one sound effect or none; the latter has been far more common in my recent play.

People are way too sensitive about this.

Typical Rez macros on aether are kind of like mine. (Raising) <t> <se.#>

I think I only rarely see the overly cringe ones, and they're only ever used once or twice because people would rather avoid them than hear them/see them again over and over lmao.

Then just say you haven't encountered the ones I have. I don't see them too often but when you do see the multiple line ones with sounds, you definitely remember them and they are definitely annoying enough to want to kick the person.
