Personally I think wards should be for players and instanced islands for FCs. A place where the FC can have their own space, but wards where players can have neighbours.

You can't complain about this and also complain about the people who got screwed over by SE's messup getting their house for free. When EW got delayed everyone with an active account got free playtime, so by your logic it's ok for those that were waiting for EW before renewing sub to cry that they didn't get free playtime. And as for RNG based, you mean like drops? Which the game has, 'whaaaa they got the shiny mount on first run and I've been trying for hundreds and not got it whaaaaaaaaa'

Oh lord. Look, if a handful of people get a free house because of SE's screw up, so be it. I paid full price for both the FC's house and my personal house. I am not sitting here kvetching that some people got their plots bugged, had to sit for a month waiting for SE to fix it, and were low key compensated for it by not being made to pay for the house.

PS: Life is not fair.

Exactly!! i'm darned furious with the idea that people are gonna get housing for free because of the system bugout. discount them, i'm down for. FREE?! heck no. or refund ALL housing from the opening lot, because thats stupid

I have a simple solution for you. Under the recent Housing Rules, create an alt, grab up to 3 friends to sign your FC Creation Sheet, level it quickly to Level 6 and wait 30 days. You can then roll onto one of the left Houses in one of the FC Areas. Problem solved you have a House now. May it sucks to do it this way? Maybe.

But if you really want an house there is this solution on the silver plate. If you are not going for it well then its laziness or not enough despair to play the rules Square given to us.

Lottery before the results : Buff doge
Lottery after the zero infested results : Crying cheems

I took the money out, but I will pay the amount to the NPC, anything else would be wrong, didn't know better at the point and I should not be rewarded with a house win lottery for free, it would be unacceptable and unfair to these who paid or am going to pay in future lotteries.

And if use the excuse to claim that it is compensation, would be just as far out.

On the same token, I don't care if people who waited a month for the lotto to be fixed get a house for free. Like I really don't. Hope they enjoy it.

The number of people who win a house and who have withdrawn their gil is going to be very small. In addition some will pay when the time comes. It is a perfect solution no but given the issues of getting an npc ready the alternative would have been to hold up the lottery rounds until 6.2 and that's not going to happen. It's already taken way to long to get this issue resolved hopefully on the 16th.

Lets hope there aren't any additional issues then.
