I like to play as an healer and when i would like to do damage then i play a dd job. Pretty easy with all that jobs on one toon possible, no need for button bloat on the healer job.

I get where you're coming from; however, if all you're doing is pressing the healing buttons on your healer of choice then you're bound to notice at least some downtime between when you actually need to heal. As people learn to play the game better, the amount of healing required goes further down and reduces the amount of times you actually need to press those buttons.
So, basically, this idea of "playing a healer just to heal" is not supported in FFXIV because of the design of the battle system. Not unless you're looking to just stand there and do very little, at least. And if you do, then, well, more power to you, but you can keep doing that while the rest of us enjoy actual gameplay (should they ever update healers to have something more to do).
Tell that to the utterly bloated healing kits we have. Each Healer could easily loose half their oGCD healing buttons and still get by with how the rest of the game is currently designed.
The reason we Healers complain about our lack of dps variety is that the current Encounter design gives us two choices for what to do 50-90% of the time depending on Skill: spamm emotes or spamm our one nuke.
We're not asking to do damage, we're asking for engagement. Hitting a single button more times than a tank auto-attacks in a fight is not very engaging, that's boring. For a video game, a source of entertainment, that's not a good thing.
And honestly, if I was just wanting to feel powerful, I'd go play PSO2.
The only healer that feels bloated at all is Astrologian. The other 3 feel more empty than anything...
WHM, Regen + Medica II and your OGCDs are more than enough heals leaving your most used spell to be Glare III. You barely get to use Afflatus Misery because you have no reason to use your lilies, a damage dealing lily spender would open up the class so much, even if Afflatus would have to suffer a potency drop from the more consistent availability.
SCH, Excog lets you ignore the tank until they drop below 50%, then once again OGCDs are a big help for keeping them alive afterwards. So once again, the most used spell gets to be Broil IV.
SGE, Kardia. Also Druochole. Letting you spam Dosis III.
