Given that the reaction to the announced changes of 6.1, I'm not surprised the forums are full of 'internet drama and anger'. I'm no expert on what jobs want, but I imagine jobs like DRK and WHM were hoping for something more substantial to address the issues they feel are causing frictions in their play. On the other hand, the changes to SAM and NIN appear to be both unwanted and out of left field. With context/reason given that seems either disagreeable or confusing, I don't think it's surprisingly that people are upset. They're very much allowed to be upset that a job they play in a game they pay for is being changed in a way that doesn't appear to make sense.
It's true that the Patch Notes are likely to provide more context as well as other changes which go hand-in-hand with what was stated in the Live Letter, but I find it doubtful that anything in the Patch Notes will make me feel much better about Trick Attack no longer being our 1-minute raid buff. The problem is not 'the job will be weak' or any such thing. I would just like to continue having a 1-minute raid buff. Preferably attached to Trick Attack.
