Cute comic, but you're straight up wrong. We're mostly talking about drop-rates here and just about everyone thinks the current system is BS.

my ls has gotten 8 DL items in 3 days
My thoughts exactly, it is a time sink, but at the same time if speed runs do nothing for drop rates, then no point.
Umm like XI no sir the drop rates on FFXI some were bad but in the most part end game wasnt spammed like how it is here
Look at Limbus if i remember it was every 2-3days you could go in(and most of the time u got shit like A coins to hq AF or w/e u need like elusive earring etc..
Sky was "NOT INSTANCE" and you could kill triggers and get pops and Byakko Haidate/Dlegs were low drops but you did 5 in 1 night and boom you had a chance if not you had money items and other abj. for other jobs
Salvage this was like 3 days and you had alot of times to get gear to drop also had TH3-4
Dynamis depending on if you had TH3-4 even 5 you would get drops currency for relic
Kings some kings would be Complete Asses and drop nothing but then again you waited 21-24 hours (which this was causal content only draw back if people had sh!t pop last window )
So comparing these drop rates to XI is completely sh!t
If XI would have the spam timers like 14 everyone would be decked out to the nines
You also can't forget that usually offered tangible rewards in the majority of their events. Building pops in sky you usually would get chances at useful gear along the way, limbus you got coin drops, salvage dropped alexandrite ext. Point is you never really left an event feeling like your time was for nothing(except HNM's but as I always say, horribly flawed and I'm not touching on it)
Exactly the point of the people complaining. You have people seriously going out everyday, doing 25minute or faster runs and getting crap. Then you have people getting three drops out of one run, or a full set a night, or 8 darklight items in 3 days. The system should support skill, not luck, I doubt anyone could argue that.
So remember back in the day whey we had gathering fatigue and after gathering for a while you would just start breaking everything?
What if there is instance fatigue?
