It's hard to determine for me, since two runs of the same instance can go completely differently. This goes more so for raids than dungeons.

People who are saying "I think it should be harder" are the exact reason players ilvl scum the Alliance Roulette. Let that sink in for a while.
People don't want their time wasted on pointless HP sponges in content that is years old.
As far as synced content goes...yeah, I've noticed it takes a bit longer than it did before. As far as unsynced content goes, itt depends on the content mostly. In ARR and HW content we have the "super echo" which makes just about anything faceroll if you throw enough bodies at it (Poor Alexander Prime :( lol). In Stormblood and Shadowbringers we have something a bit more...standard, which makes everything just a little easier but still requires performing certain mechanics. But certain fights can still be brute forced easily enough, like some Extremes and Savage fights. Kefka/God Kefka can be burned down easily enough without worrying about too many mechanics, for example. And even if some people die he usually ends up going down not long after. Ruby Weapon Ex is kind of the same deal, except there are a couple mechanics that still need to be handled properly. But it's mostly on a case by case basis.
I actually really like that we get to see more mechanics in these raids. It makes it more fun for me, who has done these raids back when they were new and still a challenge. I hope it is the stat squish making these raids more challenging.
LOL "if you want to have fun, go out of your way to use the Party Finder which will likely never fill and stay away from the roulette rewards". I keep forgetting that people don't play this game to have fun.
People who cheat the alliance roulette do so because the game allows them to, and the crystal tower alliance raid is so easy it allows them to AFK.
Last time I checked people who love a game don’t enjoy clocking out and falling asleep. Those are called free loaders.
Just imagine for a second building and developing a game around the notion that content should be so easy people can AFK and finish everything in 10 minutes without putting any effort. Does that really sound like fun to anyone? Even casual folk enjoy a fight with a healthy dose of challenge, nothing crazy.
Did I say it was challenging? I don’t find any alliance raid challenging. Don’t put words in my mouth. I simply said they have too much up for the damage we do and the fights take longer than they used to. Try addressing what I said and not what you want me to of said
