A few studies have suggested that the USA is hit pretty hard from it, while the rest of the non-English world isn't. In NA, it's been growing from the 1990s when Pennywise hit their screens. It would be interesting if there is a correlation with Hollywood's horror, and the fear of them.

But it's not something really studied in any great numbers, so I am sort of taking the few studies I read with a grain - nay, a tonne - of salt. One interesting number in one study was around 1.2% of people in the USA are coulrophobic, making it one of the more common phobias in that country.

The SGE icon change was supposed to have happened due to negative feedback about phobias from the JP community too, I think it's supposed to be more common in JP.

It does become a problem if they have to think about all fears people might have whenever they make ANYTHING.
Sucks to have phobias but there is already jester-like gear in the game and all, too.

You cant always look out for everybody, as mean as it sounds.

I personally love the things we will get, the top could make for really fun glanours.

How very topical, considering the rampant clown world in meatspace at the moment. I love how Japan is anti-woke.

Coulrophobia might be a problem for some people, maybe.

Either way, it's just another event. I'll respectfully say that it's been a long time since there's been an event with glam I actually wanted.

Glamor and face paint is really cool. But I have two complaints. 1. What's up with these new knee length shorts being paired with boots? The happiness pants and now these. 2. Viera and Hrothgar are most likely going to be excluded from wearing this top hat.
