I've had long logins and multiple 2002 errors, but I've thankfully never had my place in queue reset. I always log right back in and resume.
On the Friday and Saturday I logged in early morning and had queues of less than 50. On Saturday night the queue was I think in the 4000 range and I waited about an hour to get it but never lost my place in line. I did get booted more than once, but logging back in put me right back where I was.
Last night I started with a queue of ~5700 at around 9:45pm EST and finally got logged in at almost exactly 11:00pm EST (Primal/Excalibur). That's the longest wait I've had. I haven't done anything special, and I'm using wifi so I don't know why I'm not encountering the onslaught of issues so many others apparently have.
While in game, I've experienced 0 problems.

I've been getting long queues (to be expected) and I had a few 2002s while I was at a relative's house with bad internet, but now that I'm at home with my good internet I have no problems... except for the queues. I only haven't progressed as much as I've wanted since I have work.

Hi All
As I expected large queues as I play on Phoenix and in the past I even found a queue of 10 to 30 at 1:00am GMT. I even deliberately did not plant anything before the expansion so nothing would be left rotting in our garden :)
So I didn't try to log in on Friday or Saturday. I had a quick look at 09:50 GMT on Sunday took one look at the 9,700 queue length and went and did something else.
So today was my first real attempt to Login. I started at 10:30 GMT and was presented with a 5,815 queue. I gave up and went for Lunch at 11:50 GMT after 3 x 2002 errors and getting to 4,037 in queue, as said previously though queue length was remembered between 2002 errors.
Restarted at 14:20 GMT with a queue length of 5,815 (yes the same queue length as my previous start). After 4 x 2002 errors and I had got to 3,026 by 16:40. This where I made my mistake, after another 2002 error. I went and made a coffee and phoned a friend and got back to my PC at 17:05, logging back in I was now 8,400 in the queue. So gave up for today.
While the above was happening, I have been playing other games, typing up documents and researching stuff.
Am I surprised, No as this is a very popular game.
I am mad or angry, No as I was expecting this.
Now SE have suspended Auto-Demolition for a while, I have no reason to go in for a few weeks to make sure our FC Small Holding is okay. So I will wait a couple of weeks now to allow the frenzy to die down a bit. After all it is only a game :)

The game itself runs fantastically well. The only problems are the queues and the error 2002. Once you are in-game is perfect.

I've had no issues either, but Im an early bird. At 6am on Saturday it was a 35 person queue. At 8am on Sunday it was a 50 person queue. So I got in a good chunk of play time. But alot of my FC members when they got in had storys about waiting for hours and hours thanks to 2002.

I have had no problem playing, servers are stable, Have not been kicked out of anything and I have been able to get in and play everyday almost all day. Having a blast. Story in good and quests are fine. Really like the new summoner, it's a blast.

The only time the Queuewalker hasn't been an issue for me is around 12am - 6am PST so as long as it's an out of the way inconvenient time where most of the players are asleep and I'm not, it works... with a really annoying sound stutter in dungeons/trials/raids with other players Dut-Dut-Dut-Dut-Dut non stop.

Honestly, yeah it can be irritating to wait in a queue for 4/5 hours, but once you're in, you're in. And d/cs notwithstanding, it's pretty impressively stable in game for me.
Just stocked up on 12 cans of energy drink and getting through the story. 15 minute naps etc. Should have msq done in a few 20 hour sessions going at a leisurely pace.
Absolutely adoring Sage.

Everyone already knows about the queue issue with the login server; it's just the same people screeching when they've been told time and time again why they couldn't just magic servers into existence... yes, for months, because the shortage has been ongoing for months and will likely continue for some time. I get the frustration at not being able to play but come on, people.
Anyway, the actual game servers are buttery smooth, period. Didn't have anything to do Friday, so I got on early because I've played mmos for decades and know what to expect. Played for around 10 hours before logging off, same with most of Saturday. However, when I tried to get back on that night after a nap I hit a 5k queue so just shrugged and went back to sleep. Got on early Sunday, did the same thing I did on Friday.
Haven't advanced the story too much; got up to Garlemald on my main but mostly been gathering and crafting because I like being self-sufficient, and I play through the story on an alt with my sister (who can't always beat the queues) which takes up more time. Enjoying everything so far. I don't get people complaining about slow bits in stories... you need those highs and lows, otherwise it gets exhausting. If everything were slow then fair enough, but that hasn't really been the case.

Not much problems actually, expected queues during launch and scheduled my life so I play off-peak hours.
