I am sure you get the Expansions starter crafted ilv when you get the attire. This was the case with all the new released jobs (Samurai/Red mage started with 115 ilv which is the equivalent of the 1st HW crafted set, Gunbreaker/Dancer got ilv255 = 1st crafted set in SB).
So we might get attire of ilv385 which is the 1st crafted set in ShB.
I don't know or paid attention if they showed anything on EW so I am just judging from past stuff
Ah right, I could do that instead of junking them.
I just spent some time organizing and cleaning out inventories/retainers. I don't even plan on starting 6.0 for a bit, but seemed like a good time with some coming item changes. Almost forgot about the exp reset, too... might have enough time to double-check that stuff.
To be specific, the weekly reset is midnight PST going into Tuesday 14 Dec, so unless you're in Alaska, Hawai'i, or one of the island nations in this side of the date line, you have all evening on the 13th to turn your book in and also still pick up next week's book (for the week of 07 Dec - 13 Dec) before the reset, so you don't have to miss any Wondrous Tails weeks.
That's a very realistic way to look at things; I'll be doing the same thing too, minus patching the spouse's computer as she doesn't play.
My prep's pretty much done and consisted of:
1. Stocking up on a boatload of Espresso con Panna and Coffee Biscuits for the initial DoW and DoL leveling rushes
2. Making sure I've made it to the next level on all the jobs with XP close to level so I don't lose all that XP with the stat squish
3. Clear out my retainers' inventories
4. Stock up on an unreasonable number of venture tokens
5. Buy full sets of 60 and 70 poetic gear for the secondary jobs then max out tomestones to prepare for conversion of lvl 80 gear.
6. Play an alt to experience ARR again and let rest XP max out on the main.
7. Buy a bag of really good coffee to facilitate the MSQ marathon to come.
8. Most importantly- finalize new glamours!!
Here's my list of things to do before Endwalker.
1.) Get rid of healer gearsets.
2.) Discard all healer glamour plates.
3.) Revel in my newfound space for Dragoon, Ninja and Reaper glamours.
Clear out my belt stuff.
Strip belts off my retainers.
Strip materia off belts.
Turn in belts for seals and buy more venture coins.
Sell belts that can't be turned in for seals.
Ponder if suspenders will replace belts to keep our pants up.
Regret not finishing all the things I was supposed to finish.
Regret not doing all the XP preparedness things others are doing.
Regret not getting to the next level in "x" job.
Obsess and ruminate over something.
There are only a few things that really make a difference. For me they were:
- Glamours. I haven't played dragoon much so I got the bonewicca set, eureka set, the republican set and the late allagan bodysuit. It's a good start.
- Some dungeon gear for Reaper and Sage, full poetic sets and 1200 poetics to buy the weapons. I'll buy the level 80 weapon for Reaper with converted tomestones.
- Cleaned up inventory, rented 2 retainers and cleaned up the dresser too. All the belts and other gear I'm going to desynth are in one retainer.
- Got consumables like food, squadron buffs, aetheryte tickets, dark matter, melded materia and potions.
- One WT book ready to turn in. I just need to unsynch primals for the second one.
- 600+ fox leafs and enough Gil for a mansion in preparation for 6.1.
- Crafting prep. I intend to level crafters and gatherers by gathering all materials and crafting leveling gear (to sell). I have mats for multiple sets of 74-78 healer and maiming gear, which I will craft as soon as I log in. The two new retainers will store that gear while I slowly sell it and focus on the MSQ. After that I'll cap DoH and DoL.
