Changes to Savage Loot Lock System

For context, can you please define "late?"
For some people that's 4th week, for others that's 14th week.

I'd just like those raids to have 1 type of token instead of 1 token for head gear, 1 for chest, 1 for legs, 1 for feet, 1 for hands, 1 for accessories...

It just feels like unnecessary inventory clutter.

OP is talking about savage, not normal. Savage only has 4 tokens.

No people the PF is more alive than it was in 5.5. When it got unlocked a few months ago.. it became alot more lively.

And that has nothing to do with them opening up every floor instead of clearing sequentially and adding echo?

Just removal of the loot lockout caused this?

Think about a simplistic strategy: a static whose members have 1 alt character each. They'll let 2 DPS play on their main character while everyone else is on their alt and let them have all the loot. Then they all swap to their main characters except for the 2 DPS, clear again and gain new loot. So it'll take half the amount of weeks to get the same amount of gear. And I'm pretty sure that there are even more efficient strategies.

... people already do this with split clears. Assuming my static clears within two weeks of the tier. We'll have our mains entirely geared, weapons and all, by week 5 simply because we're running two groups and funneling our mains. Week 1 groups can do this even faster; gearing the entire static in just four weeks. Essentially, we could theoretically all get something every week.

My suggestion wouldn't make a lick of difference to groups running alts. It would, however, allow for more flexibility in PF. Which is sorely needed, especially when PF lacks the consistency of actually getting gear each week.

I'm speaking as from the standpoint of an average player, and someone who likes to raid with friends.

Just get rid of the 2 chest system lock. And instead just keep the character locked.

Considering the system already doesn't allow you to even roll if you already saw loot for the week, logically there's no reason not to do 2 chests every time and simply block reclearers from rolling.

If you have friends or anyone really that had already cleared they could open the floors for you. You would just lose loot. Rewards incentivize people.

personally imo if anyone is clearing the savage tier and being fully geared out in BIS by week 2... there's something wrong with you. =p

Can't say I enjoy the general playerbase getting screwed because a small portion of more try hard players will use alts to gear asap. If they wanna do that it's their business. Some suggestions here would make pf a lot more appealing to join in on.
