idk sch looks fine not as flashy as many others but if it does it's job well doesn't need to be flashy honestly it seems way worse since it's counterpart got a huge rework lets see how it plays doesn't have to be drastice changes to be a good class or super duper flashy.
because sch is tied to smn and smn got hands down the biggest boon so it's like setting someone who kinda small trophy next to someone who got a massive one both are nice but one looks like crud next to the other.
Your correct it boils down to it didn't get super flashy stuff sch is sch.
Do you realize that a major portion of the casual players are adult who just want to relax when they play?...The game being streamlined is specifically for adults who don't have dozens of hours to hit a dummy and learn a rotation.
Also...Learning a complex rotation has nothing to do with intelligence. It just has to do with how much time you are willing to put into learning it in your muscle memory.
Figuring out the rotations involves a lot more intelligence. And guess what? People just go on the balance discord because figuring it out themselves is too difficult.
Figuring out the fights involves a lot more intelligence too. And guess what? People just go on youtube or whatever and watch or read a guide.
Extreme and savage being the only difficult things is exactly how it should be for most adult players. (that said, there should be more end-game difficult content)
Patience/time and intelligence are completely different things.
What exactly happened to Scholar that has so many people upset?
I think there will be some changes to the job, they just didn't mention them.
What we do know is, that the aoe will get a secondary effect (nice), Scholar will get an in-combat run speed buff (might be pretty awesome for certain kinds of content), healers will all get single target buffs added to their repertoire, and nukes will have shorter casting times.
All that sounds pretty good to me.
The reason people complain is, these aren't the sort of changes they wanted, and the tone around here can be melodramatic.
