What I meant by "solo" was not in a group. I usually have to keep moving otherwise I'll be left in the dust by everyone else doing FATEs. The FATEs are being done by many players, solo and partied. Unless your datacenter is one of those ones where Borzja is dead, I guess, you shouldn't be the only one doing FATEs.

That's not exactly hard, even then. Lost Actions can cover a lot of problems that could arise from bad party comps.

Yeah, I don't think it is difficult by any means. The first boss is usually the main hurdle that makes or breaks a group. In my experience they break right then and there 95% of the time, usually because someone pulls early and no one had time to coordinate everyone's efforts.

The few times I've went in to try and assist. Never once seen an early pull. Actually everything all coordinated.. then we fail. It's really sad. I've only cleared it three times, but I've probably went in over a dozen times.

Thing is nowadays, don't ever get enough to even make an attempt. Before when I was trying to get my clear, I at least had the opportunity to wipe. It doesn't look like new players nowadays are even getting that chance.

Random will be random. Everyone's experience differs, it seems.

Should pick up when 5.45 gets close to dropping. Its apparently its still very unclear if bozja+castrum is required to continue with weapon, but from what devs mentioned last live letter it does sound it is a requirement. So im sure all the folks that went fate route are going to pop back in for clears.

The problem is the low rewards versus the high time investment. There isn't really anything unique from CL, nor does the amount of rewards is enough to drive many players to go through the troubles.
One way to fix it is to adds yellow, red, blue memory into the rewards, for examples total of 10 in a mixed of those 3 for clearing CL.

The problem I see with most groups attempting castrum is the severe lack of communication. Especially on the first boss and going to the rooms to rescue if you want to maximize your coins from the run.

I mean, adding coins to fates was a smart idea, people weren't doing them once they hit 15. They just also didn't predict that this would kill castrum. It shouldn't be that hard to fix, doubling or even tripling castrum coin rewards is probably enough. Maybe making you not lose mettle in castrum too, but eh.

Increasing rewards will change nothing but how fast Castrum died (particularly going overboard with them as some people here have proposed). Once a player is done there is no point to do it anymore and this is something that happens with any content, the longer you wait the harder it gets.

In any case, once the new raid is added Castrum should be active again unless SE decided to add Castrum fragments to the new normal mode.
