I'm defnitely not holding my breath for feet, although would be nice to get an anatomically correct "barefoot" option... maybe [Emperor's new Viera Shoes]? Or at least ONE new different footwear for Viera.

But in the hairstyle case... I know Viera has limitation with the headgear, but there are no excuses not to give HAIR to them, most specifically the Modern Aesthetics ones, that are things that players in some cases pay actual money for it. We had a bunch of new hairstyles post-ShB launch and there's no excuse for them not to include Viera, as it's just a humanoid head with ears more or less starting where a Miqo'te's does.

Thanks for that. Good to know I was wrong, so there is some hope. But from what Koji interpreted, it'll be only to alleviate some of the deficiencies, so they'll likely never be on par with the other races.

Yeah, we'll have to wait and see what it means when they actually do it, but at least it's good to know they're aware of it and don't consider it a great situation either :)

so you can force enable hats to show on viera through third party tools but results arent stellar

i'd blame customizable ears for this. it's the reason why the dirndl hat just kind of sits on the very front of their head, ready to slide off

as for hairstyles i'd say this is probably another reason because they're too lazy to fit each hairstyle for each ear type

I.....I just want hairstyles. Dont care about hats, or feet. I just want all the hairstyles that i have unlocked that i cant use ;_;

I want want hairstyles that look good enough on Viera they won't need hats
I would like SE to make hats that are purchased through Mog Station & redeemable rewards for purchasing their merch (Like Matoya's hat) to be accessible by Viera.
I want something like this - Obv the length is something SE wouldn't do, but long enough with the split & the pretty Viera Diadem around the ears.

This don't even hold... the base of the ears are all the same, so it won't make sense. I can think only of a couple of ponytail styles that would clip into the ear though.

For Hair "something will come some day ... but not today"

Hats? Maybe they get some unique stuff at some point?
