I think people are over estimating Garuda.. and I will laugh if it take a long time to first beat it, because of X move is a pain in the royal foot LOL.

sadly my favorite part of all the dungeons and burning circles so far was prior to moogle fight. all the running around with the full server, killing new nm's getting key items, and finally being able to enter moogle. i did all of it in one nite ...then i didn't even do moogle fight for like 2 weeks ...
though i'm glad to here it will be harder then the rest (doubt it) but i liked the prior requisitions way more and they stated it will be way easier then any of the others to do the prequest for it. (though i guess they running out of stuff to do with this old pre.2.0 system) i hoping that 2.0 and beyond we not just handed entrance to stuff. i like having to fight and quest my way into sea and sky and any burning circle.
Like the other Primals fights, Garuda will be more about staying alive than DPS.
Stay on your toes. Be ready to break her wind.
Well, moogle actually took longer than 6 hours until it was beaten normally without the exploit..but even if we consider moogle to be down after 6 hours, they said Garuda will be harder than Moogle and Ifrit.
Some group though WILL find a way around it, will tell their strategy and after a while everyone will complain how easy and boring the fight is..:rolleyes:
I will laugh SO hard if it turns out archers get a penalty to accuracy due to strong winds. :D

Contest Ends on the 23rd of April for a Reason.. =) I can't wait for end of April =).. and for Dalamud to get BIGGER!! o.o
I think the fight will be tougher. In my opinion the fights are getting more complex as the team learns the type of skilled players they have in the community. Moogles to me is a much better design than Ifrit but still isn't the perfect formula yet.
I just hope they got rid of class stacking or at least won't count it as the first win.
They can't get rid of class stacking because idiots will always find a way to stack classes, even if it could be done in a variety of setups (both primals and the new dungeons can be) the problem with new MMO gamers, they hate doing actual work and trying to think of actual strategies that they'd rather just take the easy way out.
