For The Love Of God Please Add Skip Cut Scene To The Story Dungeons

This might sound bad to some, but when it comes to those two dungeons, which are the only two dungeons in the entire game that are cutscene-heavy... The experience of a single newbie is worth more to me than that of the seven other party members. I'm fine with the forced cutscenes in those dungeons.

I think adding a way to skip it outside of the roulette would be nice though not every newbie cares about the cutscenes and most of them could be adjusted to make the experience better.

I think they should only be skippable unsync.

They used to be skippable until people were left behind, and Yoshida had a big problem with that.

It only took them 3 or 4 years to make them unskippable. They were a bit slow to react on that one sadly.

We had lots of new people who felt left behind and frustrated during that time.

No. Then ppl would leave or kick new players.

A friend of mine started playing this game and was disappointed she couldn’t skip the story in the dungeon. They were boring and she didn’t care for them. We spent over an hour just playing on our phones while going through these last two dungeons. She quit playing right after. Her reason was that the game is boring. A lot of running around and the story was boring. The animations for the cutscenes were the same.

The cutscenes are terrible quality and you miss nothing except the final battle. So why have these moments where I need to see a cutscene about the characters talking about destroying a gate or tower.

Cut the fat already I don’t need to see a person raise their hand as a good bye to my character as a cutscene. It’s always the same. Then they turn around and slide away. Quality work.

My advice to keep people in early is to release armor and weapon relics they can build on at level 1. One that glows and grows as the player progresses through 2.0. It would drive people to get through the fetch quests and lack luster story.

Giving the option to skip would result in the exact same issue that caused unskippable cutscenes to be mandatory in the first place.

Or maybe the game just wasnt for her? You cant make it fit for everyone, sometimes it cant be helped...
