Her iconic outfit is orange, and it always appears orange in every media she is in, even her original game. Like most colors orange has variants. The closest color for her would be amber, which is like a midway between pure yellow and pure orange. Don't let the name of the Amber Drought Chocobo fool you, Amber is an orange not a red. Also that "fan" artwork you mentioned is official artwork for Opera Omnia.

People do see colors differently, barring colorblindness, but maybe show us what you mean. If we all still say orange, you might be shadeblind, a muted form of colorblindnesd, but if we all see yellow, it might be something in the game that made it that way, like lighting, as has been pointed out.

So I just think now you used this thread to draw out FF fans and have a go at them, because I can think of no greater way to insult FF fans than to say FF1 is trashy. I've never played it, but without FF1 there would be no FF at all..also it saved Square and made them the successful giant they are today. Honestly you need to take Meru out of your sig, you're unworthy and if the Divine Dragon itself were to come to Deningrad and found you there, it would wait for you to leave because it's not gonna waste energy blowing you away.
