Metallic orange - Preview vs. Reality

Before I take this to the bug report section, I want to see what other people think. Need to make sure my eyes aren't playing tricks on me. In the preview pane for Metallic Orange Dye, it looks much darker than what it is on the actual armor to me. Anyone else?

Sorry, I think I've posted maybe like two pictures on here before, and I don't do pictures in general anywhere else. My photo-fu is lacking.

Your eyes don't trick you, but I'm not sure if that's actually a bug or a result of light, weather and time of the day nuances. Though other colors generally seem to not have such difference between preview and reality.

I considered the same thing, and I went to a few different places to test it out. Super bright Il Mheg, darkened inn rooms, house with no lights, etc., but it all looks off.

Edit - I suppose it could be the utter lack of light in the preview pane / character screen that gives it that darker color. /shrug

I was a bit disappointed by the difference, for sure.

honestly I think Square enix has no idea how to make orange colors ... Idk why they are such failures when it comes to orange and snake creature art design wise when they do just about everything else perfectly

Ah, I see now. You have literally no idea what you're talking about nor have any clue about anything Final Fantasy outside of XIV. No need to be (too) ashamed, everyone starts somewhere.

Boku no google Opera Omnia and FFIX. Square Enix was never only FFXIV. It might help you to know more about the company. You said SE can't make orange, that character is as orange as they come and a main character of their own game.

lol do you every cutscene in ff9 her dress was yellow not orange fan art doesnt count, Half the times outside final fantasy 1-5 the snakes are flat design (Also ffxiv is pure trash compared to all the other ffs lol)

the closet to orange being done correctly by them is on Ifirt during final fantasy 10 (outside dark ifirt that was just ugly) for the entire game , ff9 was great by princess garent/dagger dress is not orange outside select areas but thats the lighting effect every cutscene in the game the summoning of Alexander to save alexander to the death of her (fake mother) her dress was not orange lol it was yellow the only time it ever showed up as orange was the opening movie of final fantasy 9


Also in that image that dress is YELLOW NOT ORANGE


Also that might work on someone who hasn't bought the games over 5 times and beaten them more than 3 times a year lol. Seriosely the only game I've beaten more often is breath of fire and legend of dragoon.

The only final fantasy I haven't beaten is 1 (Which was really trashy) and 2 which well drains you with all the weapon training... Also you literaly trying to use the first one I beat with no guides/nohelp when I owned a playstation one against me by posting images like you never played the game I bet you don't even know Zidane brothers name or species do you?
