The MP generation is just way too low. I don't mean in terms of strength, I don't feel any weaker at the moment with the new kit (if anything, it feels stronger in power at the moment to me since TBN is even bulkier), but I mean just in terms of the flow and feel of the class. One combo is fine if you have a lot of oGCD buttons to press and resources to manage - but that's not the case anymore like it was in SB. I'd genuinely take a potency cut on edge/flood and bloodspiller/quietus for an increase in mp generation and blood generation. It's just far too easy to manage compared to SB DRK. In SB you'd cap on something if you weren't paying attention and thinking ahead because of how fast you could generate those two resources, especially under blood weapon proccing on autoattacks as well and delirium giving you a huge chunk of mp just on cast, as well as TBN giving you 50 blood on its own instead of the freecast it does now. All these factors were extremely prone to over capping which was the primary source of engagement on the job.
Now you can pretty much doze off for a lot of phases in your rotation and it's no big deal because all the resources are generated so slowly in exchange for higher potencies on the dark arts replacement (edge/flood). In fact, because it is generated so freaking slowly, you end up holding mp even more for your TBNs since you don't want to not have mp for them and they give you freecast edges anyway, which means you're just waiting around a lot instead of doing things usually after your opener. It's just way too dull right now, and it's honestly the first time I've been having second thoughts about the job since its release.
