I've never done that. But I've saw over this forum and Reddit several cases of tank mains shirking someone who likes to pull for the tank. And if you die, it's on you.

Everyone is a member of the same team. But, if you fail to consider the group's dynamics or to communicate with the tank, the falt is all yours.

If you mean that you give the effort to be good, you are not an elitist. You are hardworking.

As such how? Remembering everytime they owes you for your generosity to go at their rat levels to show how it is done? And to remember that healer who done less than a 95 percentile performance is just a thrash and should uninstall this game right now for good? Those asshole moves is behaving elitist.

If you slow the pace, you aren't elitist. Elitist would never change something on their own for someone they think inferior. True elitists would call the healer all names before initiate a vote kick on him.

I'm just going to add my 2 cents in here.. you've got the classifications of different types of players..

The Elitist, players whom knows they are good and will show off and prove it. They can be nice, silent, or jackasses.

The Mentor, players whom are knowledgeable and skilled and are willing to assist other players.

The Newb. Players whom are new to content and have very little skill/knowledge.

Then there is the Noob. players whom believes they have all that and a bag of chips.

Patience is a virtue, I've been in every role. Every so often i take a brake from a game... i come back have to dust the rust off, as a tank. I pull slow to get into the rhythm/ see how skilled the healer is. And if I see the healer is dpsing more then healing... I pull more. As a healer. If I see that the tank is moving slow, I make a comment go as fast as you need to. I don't pull extra... i hate that as a tank, why would I do that to other ppl? There's a reason a tank pulls slowly. A they aren't sure about how much dmg they are capable of taking, B they don't know how skilled the healer is.. and C, they aren't sure as to what they are doing... I've seen tanks at 70 who think they can pull big and get wasted in the blink of an eye. As a tank. I want to make sure I know I have complete control of the mobs. Someone pulls more and drags them over. chances are... I stopped at that many because A, I'm out of buffs and know I'll get hit far harder then I can take before a buff comes back, thus a wipe. Which has happened. B I'm at my limit, or C, that's all I'm comfortable with.

Tl;Dr. Chill, relax, play the game, and have fun your way. With out intentionally impeding the fun of others

Nope, don't care. Pull big or go home.

70 level dungeons isn't the learning process, it's the exam. 90% of tanks pass.

Dungeons are not EX, Raids, Ranked PVP, Savage, or Ultimate content. You want to be a big boy/girl, then go prove it in hard content.

It is socially implied that the "tens" dungeons (50s/60s, 70s, and Expert) are all big pull (at least 2x packs or to first barrier, minimal). If a healer doesn't want big pulls, the healer needs to state that up front prior to first pull. The healer is the one who is going against the socially implied norm.

In what world does this fella live in? We are talking about level 70 dungeons. I use healer most of the time in experts and even with the worst tanks I can dish out quite a lot of DPS. Big packs in level 70 content are not scary, they are the norm, especially in expert. It's not unreasonable to start from the point of expecting basic competence. Ask first he says. My lord have mercy.

The exception to this is gearing, I've had some tanks try and do the huge pulls with crap gear, probably just recently hit 50/60 etc. It either didn't go well or it was actually slower as I couldn't dps much and was just doing everything to keep them alive.

I love the big pulls, dpsing as much as I possibly can while keeping the tank alive. Just recently I had a Burn group, tank wasn't super geared but not horrible. He pulled one group at at time, it was slower, but mostly it was just boring.

Interestingly enough it was only about 6ish mins slower for the total dungeon run. What I realized then was it was just as much about the fun as it was the time.

That said it certainly wasn't worth throwing a fit or really even making a comment, we (me and the two dps, just did what we do, just not quite so much as we normally do :)
