Again with this 'balance' horsecrap.
Here are some facts for you, open wide
FACT 1 : Tanks and healers are way more balanced than they were in Heavensward.
Are they perfectly balanced? Of course not.
FACT 2 : DPS jobs are less balanced than tanks and healers.
But we never see anyone complained about how they shouldn't add more dps job because of it, do we?
Take that however you wanted, but please stop with the excuse about how they shouldn't add new tank or healer because muh balance issues, which I can almost guarantee doesn't affect you in the slightest.
Would you be ok with no new tank or healer in 5.0?

We need more tanks and healers; I love to see them be something different than heavy armor types for tanks though. Or at least a heavy armor mage of some sort...Sage Job class...?
And healer using some sort of healing technique that doesn't involve magic, like a Chemist sniper or some sort of Blue Mage healer hybrid...? -

Only if we're getting true hybrids or something otherwise very unique.
Alternatively, I'd be fine with no additions if any only if it meant getting a repolish of the existing jobs to make them feel less like templates-with-flavor-adjustments. -

I would appreciate having a new healer and a new tank, but I just don't want them to just make a copy of an existing class.

Wouldnt mind either way, its a no win situation.
We either:
1. Get a new tank and healer and they are vastly superior to current best tank/healer giving us a new first and second place for each
2. Get a new tank and healer and they are terrible and only past tanks and healers shift around in popularity
3. Get a new tank and healer and they are average but are overshadowed by past tanks and healers due to attack/ability/spell changes brought by 5.0 and maybe shifting the first and second place tanks/healers around
4. Get no new tank or healer and one of each is still third wheeling in some form -

Absolutely not. I was really annoyed when they announced double dps for stormblood. Give me at least a healer or tank and I'll be happy.
