Haha no the Delete key ( Del) . Usually, when you start up or restart your machine, you will see the "POST" screen. You will see things on it that say "Press Del" for set up or TAB for boot things like that. I just messed with a newer BIOS screen on a Dell 960 and I THINK, not sure but think it was the Delete key (Del) that I used but there's no harm in trying whatever you may see show up. One way or the other you'll get it. And you can't miss it cause it says it's the BIOS. Then just search around for that screen shot shown in the article. Once your done turning it off, just hit apply on that BIOS Screen and then exit out. Your laptop should restart with the Optimus feature turned off and then you should be able to play. :)
Yours probably has a higher chance of working due to the way that FFXIV is structured. My concern is that it's an area that none of us can remote assist him with. And he cannot take screenshots of it.
Which do I try first! I'm still a tad confused. I did what Kiote said to do. I get this and donno what to select.

Select the high-performance NVIDIA processor.
Then click apply and thats it? If I try it from then and it doesnt work then what should I do?
If it does not work, jumping for the more solid solution, Geesus has a solution.
When you're turning on your computer, you may have to press the DEL(ete) key to get into your Bios.
And you will have to look for an Optimus checkbox, uncheck, Save settings, and continue booting up.
First attempt here I go! if I play in windowed it will boot a bit after logging in.
Well, than you might have to try the link I gave you.
Yeah Fiosha I know. I mean, I could remote but not during a BIOS and if Kiote's plan doesn't work that's the only option. :( Was just on the Dell forums and Dell won't even tell it's customer's how to correct it. Instead they're sending out Techs to install older MOBOs with a lower bios version and most likely disabling that feature. smh
