Oh here we go again.
Until I got a large i was open to the idea but now that i was able to relocate to large i think i would be against it.
There should be enough houses for everyone.

I'd only advocate this on the grounds that it might discourage people from buying out larges strictly to deprive others.
There's a guy on my server who owns a large on his main account and two larges with his gather/craft bot alt accounts which aren't being used for any purpose that couldn't be achieved with a small.
I want a house with out having to spend a day waking up at 3 am to have a chance of beating others in a mad rush.
Honestly $3 a month I would gladly pay for a instance large house with double outside items.
Makes perfect sense for the people with 5 houses. Since apparently housing is so horribly expensive that it has to be rationed, anyone using more than their share should pay appropriately.
I would do it. I had been looking for a large for a while before I got one in this last patch. I would have gladly paid a couple extra dollars a month for one. I pay for extra retainers and a house is far more valuable to me.
However, if I was paying a subscription for a house, there better not be any type of auto demolition as long as the sub is active.
If houses were instanced there would be no need for a fee and the supply problem would be resolved. SE has plenty of money to support a decent housing system. It is their inability to admit they failed with the current implementation that is stopping anything from being fixed.
The only reason for a fee is greed. Ive already paid for the base product which includes housing just as I pay a monthly fee that presumably contains a portion for housing as well. In fact if an instanced housing system were designed well, a high bar for SE I know, it would take less resources, be easier to manage and be more dynamic than the ward system they use today. So SE would really be saving money over the current implementation.
Yeah no, like sub and paying for retainers isn't already enough.
