Additional Subscription Fees For Housing

This would solve all the problems! We often hear you guys at SE complaining about the work that making a good and fair system available to all your subscribing players is, so make everyone who has a house pay a fee for it in their sub! That would eliminate a good deal of the issue and you'll find that the people that buy them will probably be more active in their use of them too, and we know how you like the extra money! Then it could be dealt with by the Mogstation crew, or somesuchlike, who strangely seem to be able to deliver on the things you buy. Strange huh!

Been suggested, see housing treads... why should people who actually have homes be penalized? Some of us already pay for retainers, maybe for additional housing I can see that.

Please no. I pay for additional retainers already and an extra fee to have alts on the same server. They could just make instanced housing or expand on apartments, but that would be too easy.

But look at this problem from the point of view of people like me, after a house for years, abide by all their (unenforced) terms and conditions, have additional retainers etc etc, subscriber for three years now - and I'm not ALLOWED to attempt to get a house? It's not a skill gate but a SE problem gate, if a squeeze on the money made them deal with it, they'd make people happy very quickly.

I think they enjoy watching players go at each other's necks and that's why they always say to redirect our concerns to the forums.

But look at this problem from the point of view of people like me, after a house for years, abide by all their (unenforced) terms and conditions, have additional retainers etc etc, subscriber for three years now - and I'm not ALLOWED to attempt to get a house? It's not a skill gate but a SE problem gate, if a squeeze on the money made them deal with it, they'd make people happy very quickly.

You also need to look at it from the view of players currently with housing. By enforcing an additional cost, they're punishing players who already have a home and worked within SE's system to obtain them. We didn't have to pay additional before, but now we have to for reasons beyond our control? That's not fair either.

I 100% believe that the fault lays in SE's hands and their desire to have a system that doesn't work with the player base count they have. They need to reevaluate. They have more players than they anticipated who desire housing. They cannot please everyone with the current structure. They need to not punish one side to please the other.

It's more of everyone has a chance and alternative options are being done. Will take time and lets face it, before it was more of a RTM and flipping house type of deal. In time it may seem fair, not SE fault players are more resourceful than others...

You can still flip houses now. Upgrades are still instant and so are FC transfers.

Sounds good but what about people that can barely pay their sub? I'm sure they have the right to have a house too. If there aren't enough houses I only see fair to allow one house per character per account, which they already did and leave mansions for +50 member Fc's. If there were enough houses I wouldn't care if someone wanted 25 houses for him or a mansion but right now there are people that need those more.
