Probably not the case. This isn't how cutscenes work at the moment. The change here is that you can't skip your own cutscene, not that you have to wait for everyone else to finish theirs.

Just cancelled my sub over this. Inexcusably moronic. No justification for this whatsoever. If you wanted to watch the cutscenes, you could do that already, just let the other people clear it. This and 2.1-2.5 are huge bottlenecks in the game already. Making this old trash longer is the opposite of what they should be doing. Everyone saying this will be a nearly insurmountable obstacle in the MSQ now is completely right and it's not hyperbole. People will be sitting in queue for hours and then just log off out of frustration. Unbelievably stupid. Completely ridiculous.

Dont worry guys! They'll add a cracked cluster as next solution to make the run look more tasty :3

The issue here isn't player toxicity but that SE actually designed dungeons with 30 to 45 minutes of CS embedded in it. Before, people were doing these dungeons while skipping CS, now nobody in their right mind will do them.

This is going to backfire on them. The reason people rushed it was because it was too long. All they have to do is add the cutscenes into the book since not all of them are in the book for some reason. Now there will be a decrease in people queuing for it and it will cause horrendous wait times for new players. Not only that but the new players might get so frustrated that they end up either quitting or buying the story boost which will end up them missing a huge chunk of other content.

What crystal are you referring too? As far as I know - the usual items I get generally i get en-masse via hunts or other....just not incentive enough. As its already been said repeatedly - medacity (sp?) tomes would be required along with poetics. - But at that rate even I would be dis-inclined with the fact that no ones going to queue for forced cut-scenes (while I do not have an issue with it...but I'm not sitting there for people to queue up.)
